Not at all. I've found that I'm the most ticklish when tied down, not able to escape and knowing EXACTLY what is going to happen to me. Nothing beats the anticipation 😀

I don't know. Maybe tickleshotel or TG4L can test that theory out when/if I get to NEST one of these days.

I'm not more ticklish. But, there are aspects that may create a better reaction. If you're sneaking up on me from behind, you're most likely to hit good spots that get more reaction anyway. Also, catching me by complete surprise can get into my head and make the experience more enjoyable on some levels. However, that's only true when it's someone I'm friends with. I'm not into others coming up unannounced and just digging in.

If something catches me by surprise, I can guarantee a big jump and a yelp at least. Surprise tickles are one that will make me react a bit more.

When i've tickled by suprise it does seem that a wild reaction occurs more often than not. When it happens to me, I immediately go in to protection mode. Suprise tickles can be a lot of fun..

I love when the unexpected tickle is under a shirt...like a finger in the armpit of a shirt or a smattering of fingers over my ribs but under my loose t-shirt...
Just about knocked myself out once when my gf at the time sat on my legs and tickled my ribs and belly under my shirt while I was changing the oil on my car...killer but fun!

blindfolds?

My funny dilemma has been to try to balance my desire for suprise/unguarded tickling, with a lady's "natural curiosity"(some would call it "nosiness" 😛 )....

Some ladies tell me they do not want blindfolds because they want to see my "tickle tecnique" ("nosiness"...*grins*...), but many are ok with eye coverings, and some even request blindfolds, because of the enhanced feelings of helplessness and anticipation.....

And I usually seem to get a more frantic, helpless, intensified laugh from a lady tickled with a blindfold....(yummy )

I'm not more ticklish when surprised, I react differently. Usually I will jump and yelp if someone sneaks up on me. I totally lose it when I can't see what is coming (blindfold or on my stomach) and someone is verbally teasing me....YUMMMY!!!

Definitely makes it worse. I don't know if it makes me more ticklish, but when I know what's coming I can hold my breath or just not laugh. Surprise me, and I'm likely to let out some sort of embarrassing noise

Well, I've never been properly tickled... but I know from the odd surprise pokes in my side (worst spots) that the surprise makes it *much* worse. I noticeably jump. 😛

Not neccessarily suprise tickles are what tickle me most, but when I can't see when its coming or where they are going. I laugh so hard if say I'm on my stomach and somebody is tickling me from behind, I don't think I've ever laughed harder than that and it doesn't even depend on the spot. Also the suprise pokes in the sides or squeezes from behind usually send me through the roof haha. I think when you don't know its coming it heightens the sensation. Isn't the reason you can't tickle yourself because your body knows its coming? Just my little input 🙂
