I am excited for oblivion, but I am still playing GRAW! Looks like oblivion will have to wait for a while... Maybe the price will drop in the mean time. 😀

GRAW was awesome. My manager at work says it sucks, but he's an idiot so it's ok. Lol I know it's not nice to say things about your boss, but he keeps warning people against getting it, and he was like "Well, I don't see why the Game Informer gave it a 9, it wasn't that good." Yeah, this is coming from the guy who thinks Fable is god. Good game it was, but he talks like it's this huge series that's complicated to follow, and it's funny watching him try to get into conversations with customers about game series he doesn't know much about, lol. Oh and like I said before, I am currently moving into my apartment with my girlfriend, so I'm internet-less. My 360 and stuff is at my apartment, but I'm staying here until I get everything moved over. Jus a couple more boxes, my bed, and the rest of my girlfriends stuff then hopefully I'll get the net goin over there, and we can play sometime. ^_^

Lol nah not yet. I kinda hop around for games to keep the customers informed. It's nice being able to check out games for free, lol. Definitely plan on picking up Oblivion though, cause there is no way I could fully enjoy that over a week's period. I actually can't wait for Gears of War to come out, that looks pretty good. Also found out that they are doing a God of War 2, which would be nice to see. Kratos was awesome.

Geometry wars is 5 bucks as an instant download. If you can play it for free, do so by all means. Oblivion looks awesome...but once you get past a million points in GW, it is just insane! (excuse for not running out to by Oblivion next week because i is broked... .🙁)

I can only play games that are for consoles for free, considering that PC games require you to install, and I can only take what we have up at work if there are atleast two copies left over after that one is gone. I payed of Oblivion long ago when I use to work two jobs. Ahh, I miss being a teenage highschool student, lol. Now I'm more worried about rent, bills and what not rather than gaming, but that's life.

Geometry Wars rules! Granted... I've only got six of the achivements... but it's still an awesome game. I've got a tip for y'all... I always play it right after my morning workout. Seriously! Get some exersize, get the blood flowing and I guarantee it will make a difference in your score.

Is anyone else excited about God of War 2? After reading the preview article in this (or last, can't quite remember) months Game Informer, I am just uber-psyched for it, and hoping it'll at least live up to half of my expectations :happy:

I've been at it for a week and a half and have lost a lot of sleep as a direct result.

I have only played 1 and 2 due to the fact that I only have a PS1 but they both ruled.

Furthermore I read somewhere once that the makers of the RE series plan to make more RE games than there are James Bond movies (think the next JB is number 22) so were in for a loooooong ride

A cool video game that is relative new, within the last year, is Psychonauts.

It's sort of hard to explain but it's oddly addictive. The game was written by Tim Schafer, who used to work at LucasArts and made all the Day of the tentacle, Full, Throttle, and Sam and Max games.

Yeah, that's true. However, I think that any game, no matter how good, can be made better somehow. Apparently they (the makers) have been getting alot of feedback from forums and such. And they also plan on including many of the features that were cut from the first game (ex. the Icarus wings), as well as including more types of enemies/boss fights, which the first game really lacked.

Anybody hear about Smackdown vs. Raw moving to Microsoft now? Definitely can't wait for that. God of War 2 looks pretty good, just wonder how they could improve on an already great game. Anybody here ever heard of Namco X Capcom?

hey Twistedmind, what was that about Medal of Honor? I agree, it is one of, if not THE, best WW2 themed shooters. My favorite by far is European Assault. the graphics, sounds, game environments, and awesome music score make it stand out higher than the others in my eyes. I was excited about Rising Sun b/c it offered a break from the European theatre, and the player now gets thrust into the boots of a Marine (OORAH). I wouldnt say that it sucked entirely, but i think it was rushed and definitely left a lot of room for improvement. Pacific Assault was better in all, but my damn old computer could never run it smoothly. Unfortunately there is only so much of WW2 that is left to be made into a game.

PS- i liked Wolfenstein, if u like those kinds of settings i would recommend Bloodrayne

How many WW2 games are there anyway? I'm thinkin probably more than I count. I'm actually looking into buying one, and I haven't played one in a while.

And I've never played a Bloodrayne. What's it like? Judging by what I've seen, it looks alot like DMC, though that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I think there's probably more WW2 games than I can count too, a tradition going back to the old Intellivision, if memory serves me correctly.
Also, is anyone else here looking forward to Dirge of Cerberus? It looks like a pretty interesting game, sort of an action-RPG mix (Complete with damage points popping up over enemies' heads when you pop a cap in their asses.) The graphics look pretty cool from what I've seen, and the story seems pretty interesting too.

Well I haven't seen Advent Children yet either. I will say that Cloud does show up in DOC. I'd seen a video on Youtube with footage from the game, and Cloud does show up in a few scenes. Here it is if you'd like to see. Cool song too 😀 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiD3yVc9z4E
