Little bit of both really. Artist mainly. But if I notice something I'm doing is making someone else look like they're on another planet whereas what I used to do comes close, but not quite then, I like being the best at applying my brush, so to speak. The more I understand about it, the better I can apply it.

This also means learning more about your canvas though.

Both ! The scientist in me is intrigued by the stimulation of the nerves that result in laughter. How the ticklee percieves the sensations of tactile over load. Yet the Artist in my looks for ways to enhance the ticklish feeling. Bring it out and develope it to the max. Since tickling is audible, I look at it like playing a musical intrument. Every part of the body is a different note.

Great question! I'm typically the scientist with most things, but tickling is so integral to my mental makeup that I just accept it intuitively and simply revel in it. So I have to answer, much to my surprise, definitely the artist. 🙂

That said, I can certainly appreciate the artistic angle. Its kinda the same as normal porn. Just cuz the Gaffer is working on a porno, doesn't mean his Gaffery (Gafferism?) doesn't require talent. Theres a difference a picture you wack off to and a picture you wack off to and afterward say "Wow, I really like the way he drew the toes." .

Both!! With regards to me and my experiences... tickling is a science internally because I'm getting to know and understand, and conquer my lee's resistance... tickling is an art externally because it's so damn affective and real that you want to look at it... and when you do, all you do is feel it... from the moment the resistance arises to the moment the "oh shit" expressions happen, to the moment there's silent laughter and trouble breathing with a genuine comeuppance of wanting the tickling to stop and it not being able to stop, but still continuing because the resistance is down and it's something the lee really wanted to experience.

I'm very interested in how the victim feels about being tickled or views tickling in general. Does she see it as something fun, something annoying, silly but harmless, is she indifferent to it as long as it isn't overdone to her? Does she find the sensation of something scratching the sole of her foot to be agonizing and can't stand it, or does she find it pleasant, or is it less about the sensation and more about how it makes her want to laugh?

Or my favorite, does she hate being reduced to a giggling child and view it as a "weakness" or "achilles heel" (no pun intended) of hers? Does she fight desperately to resist the urge to laugh, hoping that the person will give up if she can hold out long enough? Does it make her dread any situation where there she percieves a threat that someone may try to tickle her?
