Is anyone ever uncomfortable saying the word tickle like I am? To me I find saying "that tickles" very unnatural. I think it also goes with hiding the fact that I am into tickling, which would also be very unusual for the average person.
Does anyone else have this problem of saying the word "tickle"?
Sometimes, yes. Sometimes hearing the word or reading it -
rarely reading, but mostly
hearing - can give me a sensory overload, due to my sensory processing disorder. I still have the fetish, though, so please do not think I don't. It's a very peculiar experience to have sensory overloads. What it is is that my brain has a slower processing rate than a neurotypical's, therefore if there is an excessive amount of stimulative impute, by brain can have these "crashes" called sensory overloads. It's shocking, but never painful. It can and
has been tremendously traumatizing for me because I've lived with it all my life and no one knew - until just recently, about a year back - that I had it, and therefore suffered from it. I'm currently in the process of seeking occupational therapy for it because if I don't, I will never be able to drive. Sharp turns, big bumps, and big hills that a vehicle will be subject to handling? Yeah, those things can send my brain into a sensory overload. When I have a sensory overload, it debilitates my body, and cripples me from functioning. I can't even see for a few seconds - my eyes are
forced shut during the overload. If I were to be driving a vehicle and have a sensory overload, that could be fatal for me.
I want and plan on getting help for this. I believe doing so would greatly improve my life and my ability to enjoy my fetish even more. =)
