I think it was Christmas 1975. One of my brothers gave me a hideous pull over sweater. It was a combination of brown, green, black and some colors never seen in the natural world. I have never owned or worn any type of pull over clothing unless forced to do so, but I know he meant well. And I did wear it now and then when we got togeather, weather permitting.

Anyone who has ever tried to buy me clothes always gets a "cool!" in person, then I donate it or return it.

One time, my folks got me a 3-CD stereo system. This was at a time when I didn't own 3 CD's. :illogical

clothes from my former step mom. she had no style at all! i think i still have some of the clothes from her with the tags still on them...haha

The worst was probably last year when my job held a secret santa thingy. The kid that picked my name ended up getting me a gift card to the fast food place we work at. Ridic.

A Mickey Mouse floating soap dish, I kid you not. When I opened it up my parents were excited and I just didn't have the heart to say 'not even close'.

:omg:
It's a two-way tie for me from the same person at different years. LOL
One was a canary yellow, two-piece, zip-up-vest sleeveless top with long pants exercise outfit.

The other was a velour red-orange long sleeve and long pants jogging suit that was extremely tight. Not too tight to say,"Damn it all to hell. It's the wrong size." It was just sooooo unforgiving in all the wrong places.

I never wore either outfit. I really enjoy exercising, and I asked for that type of clothing. LOL

My grandmother started pulling that stereotypical "ugly sweater" thing at Christmas when I was a teenager. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to find the worst looking ones.

When I was in college and grew a beard and mustache, one of my aunts gave me an electric shaver as a Hanukkah present. I think it was a hint that she didn't like the beard, exactly the wrong thing to do, give a present that is a criticism of the recipient.

PS: I never used it. I gave it away to a friend.

The Battleship board game from my grandma when I was about 16, LOL! 😀

^lol
i have never got a bad gift in my life always had great ones from what i can remember

I gotten an ass whipping does that count as a gift cause my mom said I'm only doing this cause I love you .

I have appreciated pretty much all of the gifts I've gotten one way or another.

The worst gift I recieved was when I was too young to remember. I was about two years old.

During a christmas stay at my grandparents, the old lady next door decided to get me a gift. It was a doll. She thought I was a little girl.

I hate when someone gives me clothes. I like choosing them myself. And though through the years there have been some nice ones, I really prefer to get something else as a present. Still, I appreciete every gift I get, as I know the person has spent money and time in order to make me happy 😉
