What's everyone's opinion about the new wrestling wars between WWE and TNA?

To me the worst thing WWE could do (and no offense to ECW fans) is bring ECW back, its nothing but a total joke, nothing like ECW of old and now both smackdown and raw suffer because of it. Not enough talent to go around and keep everything fresh, they doing the same matches over and over again. The matches between Jon Cena, Edge, Batista, and King Booker were just run totally into the ground.

TNA on the other hand seem to have good momentum, great young stars, fresh match ups and entertaining storyline. If they do have a flaw, it the fact that they try to make everyone there a main eventer and it just doesnt work, some deserve main event status, some dont. TNA has hit on a few that WWE just let get away, i.e. Christian, Rhino, and the Dudleys aka Team 3D, others like Kurt Angle are a wait and see but right now are doing a whole lot.

These are just my opinion I would love to hear from other wrestling fans on this as well.

One of the problems with the WWE is that they rush some of the wrestlers on TV. I think they should allow wrestle more in their territories instead of being impatient. I'm tired of Batista, he can't wrestle. I don't like the new DX and hope they don't get back together once HHH is healed. I'm definitely tired of Rick Flair, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and any other old person taking up TV time. They do too many stupid segments. And I think that the Cruiserweight Division should have quicker matches, meaning the pace of the match. I still watch WWE and they do have their good qualities but I'm just naming the problems. I don't watch TNA and don't plan too. I'm down with WWE for life. However, I do plan to watch the new Wrestling Society X promotion on MTV. When I first read of this new promotion I didn't know what to think, but after seeing the commercials ran on MTV for WSX it looks like it will be good. It looks more ECW than the new ECW. What do you guys think of WSX? Will you watch?

Caught a little of WSX just a little while ago on MTV, and I gotta say not bad, not bad at all. I was very impressed, their ring announcer need to scale back a little on what ever he gets jacked up on before a show, but I liked what I saw tonight, less bits and gimmicks and more pure off the wall wild-style wrestling. Im just guessing that this is what ECW used to be before they went under.

A few suggestions if I may, they might wanna think about streching it out to at least an hour, the half hour thing may not be the best the best route, they may also wanna think about hittting a venue, nothing big like arena just yet but something like small venue or maybe an old mall or dare I say a bingo hall.

Overall I see myself tuning in next week to see what they got, it has promise and a few tweeks here and there and it should quite impressive if they stay with it and MTV keeps them on air.

Im annoyed with the shite music on WSX

ECW never ressurected, it was simply someone posing as ECW. McMahon has stated to the public he does not care about the ecw origionals, nor their fans, he plans on making "ecw" mainstream and popular(yet it was before his involvement)

This isnt even a war so to speak, tna is the one hurling attacks at wwe, and wwe ignores, best example is when monty brown debuted on ecw. They stupidly played dumb as if they never saw this guy before(or a simple shoulderblock)

Back in origional ecw days, they would hype till the cows came home the issue of him being monty brown and that he left 1 fed for another

McMahon has singlehandedly ruined wrestling in America due to his greed and incompetance. Yes he made over a billion dollars, so has bill gates, but gates didnt let his product suffer

Some of the many problems I have with "ECW" is that number one, they try and act like they not WWE, if you watch a ECW program they dont even flash the WWE logo in the cornor yet they run promos for WWE pay per views and buy time on RAW and smackdown!. Another problem is, and I have to ask the original fans of ECW on this, is since when do they have to say that they're having a Extreme rules match? Correct me if Im wrong but didnt Extreme matches just I dont know happen? Didnt it start out as a normal match but then it got cranked up to a wild ass throwdown with anything they could get their hands on and if it didnt they just had regular matches?

But the biggest thing that sticks out to me is the fact that Vince McMahon give ECW fans they're promotion back, but doesnt give us WCW fans (yes there are some WCW fans out here) our promotion back, if Vince can dig up Balls Mahoney, Tommy Dreamer, and Sandman, Im pretty sure he would have no problem find a few WCW guys and giving them a gig and it would kill him that much to let Eric Bishoff run it so long as Vince is in the picture just like with ECW.

I think in all this Smackdown suffers the most, Michael Cole and Tazz had great chemistry and were a joy to listen to as they did a match, and while JBL is a great color guy, him and Michael Cole just do not have any chemistry, he spends half the time yelling and screaming at Michael Cole and making fun of him and bitching about Teddy Long as GM rather than doing a match and at least pretending to get along with Michael.

Again only my opinion...

Let's be honest here...

Vince and the WWE hasn't been the same since...(and I have the exact date)December 9, 2001. Right after the tournament when Jericho won the Undisputed title. hasn't been right since. I also believe right after the Survivor Series that year, when the Alliance invasion angle ended, it hasn't been right. It is obvious Vince has lost the magic, but there is a way it could come back. Follow me now. Most of the people who left WWE has come to TNA now. If more follow, and you can find a person who has the money to compete with Vince, the magic could come back. All Vince needs is competition, and WWE will get right again, until then, the product suffers
