tickle, what you mentioned is quite true among the actors that being "type cast" could be a "death knell" for some actors' careers. Mark Hamill was a good example.

I don't know if I'd actually count Hamill's career as dead...I mean, now people don't see him as just the guy who played Luke..he's done one HELL of a Joker . Man, if they could make him look like Joker in a live-action movie, he'd probably blow Jack Nicholson's version outta the water. (I could hear Hamill's Joker response to that.."Blow him out of the water? Sure, sounds like an idea. AAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!" 😛 )

Again, this is jsut rumor...casting of General Zod

Again, it is jsut rumor, but the rumor is that Jude Law is being looked at heavily to play General Zod in the new film. I think he is a good choice, especially when you look at both actors pics side by side:

I would be happy with this casting if it was true. Law got the acting chops, and I think he can do Terrance Stamp proud.
