First things first; I'm a big Pearl Jam fan. And was in a kick last night to grab videos and save them to my favorites. (I do this when I'm too lazy to download.)

Well, I stumbled onto a Live version of Betterman. I'm not a big fan of much Live videos or music, but I gave it a shot anyways.

This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen/heard. The audience just completely sings in time with his playing and it's just fucking amazing. He doesn't even sing in the beginning.

I saw Billy Joel and Elton John live when they toured together.

Tens of thousands of people singing Piano Man while Billy Joel just sat there, encourageing the crowd.

Gave me goosebumps.

I love this song, I saw them do it at one of the Lollapaloozaza's and it was absolutely heartbreaking. I got chills watching this.

our local cable company has a channel on the HD section that does nothing but live music performances. one of the shows they do is called storytellers. pearl jam did one of these and it was way cool. you might want to look it up. just a recommendation 🙂

The last year i lived in Chicago, I got to see Pearl Jam at Soldier Field the day after Jerry Garcia died. The best moment was them playing "Even Flow" and dedicating it to Wesley Willis......for those who know about him, it was a poignant moment.

Thanks for the post Crys, it was awesome! I saw them back in the day in New Orleans and it was great show. I love most of their music, but Yellow Ledbetter was always my fav. They did a great job with Love Reign Over Me also.

Funny Pearljam story (though I was never much of a fan, I had a lot more respect for them after this.) They opened for The Stones Bridges of Babylon Tour, Oakland Coliseum (yep, I'm a Jag fag.) The weather was horrendous, lots of rain. Some bigwig radio exec had upgraded us to nearly front row seats at the door, she had a bunch of extras or something, we didn't ask, just thanked her and moved up. There were these guys mopping down the stage, all in yellow hooded raincoats, busting their asses, bigtime. When they were done, they stood up, stripped off the raincoats, IT WAS THE BAND, doing their own cleanup! They picked up their instruments and just started rocking like it was nuthin'! 😛
