lazarus, we disagree on a couple points
i do view homosexuality as a form of perversion, in the true sense. we as tickphiles are not perverts
on occasion, a spanking is not out of line. there is a far cry difference between child abuse, and spanking. i don't know where you hold your time outs, but in my home a spanking is always more poinient.
our forfathers had a bit more going for them than slavery. how about honor, truthfullness as a virtue, living up to your word when you give it, treating others with respect, putting women on a pedastool to be worshipped. there was a much higher respect for life, and property back then. i think you know what i mean, and will agree with it.
i count my children as my one true blessing. if i were to loose one of the 4 i still have, i know i would lose my mind. they are my reason fr waking every morning. when they are cut, i bleed, when they are insulted, i feel the hurt. but i don not credit god for these things. i don't think he had a darn thing to do with them, once he breathed life into them, and gave their brain a jumpstart at about 10 week gestation.
