What do you think of this slate article? Do you think the boyfriend has a tickling fetish and do you think he would be so heartless to tickle his girlfriend if she was tied up?

I think it's a good article, and Prudence gives decent advice. While the boyfriend might have a tickling fetish, his behavior would fall into the realm of abusive, IMO. Would he tickle her if she was tied up? Probably, but the point is that he shouldn't, and if he was tickling her because it was a fetish, he needs to understand that enjoying ones fetish at the expense of anther's comfort is not healthy.

The boyfriend just sounds like an asshole. If she doesn't like it, stop.

Agreed. I mean... I'm certain there are many of us that have been rejected for our fetish, I've been there more times than I care to think about, but if you're having a serious conversation about not tickling someone because they really don't like it... don't do it because then it becomes abusive.

Obviously he would tickle her if she was tied up....I think the question is only how long and how hard. It's a sad probability but probably true.
