TIB, does it bother companies when other companies use the same tickle models?

Ive been a fan of TIB and Realtickling for quite some time. im not sayin it is the only company I like, as i have bought from Magic Touch and Frenchtickling in the past, but i was mainly asking TIB cuz i noticed that FM concepts is constantly recycling RT's models into their work. I noticed that the most ticklish girls at FM used to come from RT, with the exception of a few good FM models like Amber michaels and gina caruso, who i believe are ACTUALLY ticklish. although i dont buy from FM concepts much anymore i still browse their websites to see if there is anything that catches my eye. what did catch my eye is models like Crissy Moran, Goldie blair, Sara, and Cheyenne who originally started with RT then ended up somehow working for FM. Now granted this is probably the case because FM dished out the money to acquire these models. Granted RT has used models that have worked for other companies such as Darby for harmonyconcepts, but that company is very old and prolly still not makin videos anymore. But doesnt it leave a sour taste in anyones mouth that FM watched RT footage and decided they wanted to use those models as well. Seems like espionage of sorts doesnt it? I know that its just business and all, but in ANY business there should be a sense of loyalty between the employer and employee, which is why i never expect to see Kristen Lea or Priscilla James workin for FM anytime soon. But TIB you definitely know the most about this situation so i was wonderin if you could give me your insight. O and someone please tell me if this is an interesting thread or if im just talkin outta my ass. Thx!!

Really. It's a gig for them. Unless there is some contractual obligation to work solely for a single company, it's ludicrous to think that a model wouldn't go to wherever the paycheck is.

Now, as to the question of whether it bothers a company, how could we possibly know? Companies are as individual as the individuals who run them.

You know, the best way to get an answer would probably to talk to one of the models who appears in vids for different companies. The companies will probably tell you exactly what they think the customer wants to hear, but the models may be more willing to tell you what her experience is. Many of the models around list email contact information. I am almost positive that if they actually read the emails and saw your question, they'd give you an honest answer.

hi isumark. thats a fair question. i'll give you an honest answer (not one i think customers want to hear).
it used to bother me personally a little, but not anymore. it used to bother me because it's very hard to find the exact perfect insanely wonderful ticklee out there. so when you spend time, money, blood and sweat locating them, and another company watches your video clips and contacts your top models and hires them soon after, well... you kind of feel jipped. but oh well, models seek money. they go where it is and thats how they earn a living.

and truthfully, the amount of girls that are:

very pretty
will allow themselves to be filmed tied up and tickled
are above average ticklish

... are actually in very small number, so, the overlapping in videos is bound to happen now and then.

now... would i ever hire a "premium, big star" model that i knew had already worked for another company a lot? no. but that's just a personal standard of decency i hold myself too. i think every company deserves their own "big star" models, and i for one wouldn't leech off of there hard work promoting her.

i did work with a model once that jeff had worked with before me. i had no idea that he had though (because it don't watch his or other companies videos), until after the shoot, she said she shot some tickling with some guy up in Las Vegas named jeff.

viviana was another model that we found out after the fact she had worked with PV. why don't these girls mention this beforehand? 🙂

oh, on your list of models that FM has "scooped up", you forgot Julie Kyle. remember her in the original Happy Hour video with Dina Maria? FM calls her Julie King. it's not coincidence that the names are nearly identical. lol, they couldn't change the name at least a little more than that? that right there is PROOF that they watch our tickling video work closely, maybe even purchase it, or they never would have known to use a name similar to Julie Kyle. (which is an alias name)

but oh well. what can you do. 🙂

And the only thing i disagree with is that it is hard to find cute, overly ticklish girls, that like to be tickled..hehe see if you notice my name it means that im at a university, a state college, and let me tell u my friend, there are some of the hottest girls ive ever seen go to this school. I think our school was mentioned in Playboy's top 10 college campus]'s for girls, and every nice cute girl ive ever dated down here was overly ticklish and more then willing to succumb my tickling needs...i guess most college girls are exhibitionists or somethin and like to try everything. There is this one girl who comes over to my place once every week or so, in exchange for a massage she allows me to tie her up with her hands above her head to the bedpost and her ankles tied together, with knee-high nylons on of course to enhance the ticklishness of her feet. Id say this has been goin on for about 2 years and its the same with a lot of other girls..ahh the joys of being young and in college. hehe but hey man awesome work!!!

oh. i don't doubt you. i agree, there are many many ticklish beautiful girls in the world. but watch how fast they disappear when you say, "i'd like to videotape you being tickled while tied up and put you on a fetish site on the internet, and on fetish DVDS."

THAT is a different toon for 95% of them. "NO WAY" is the answer you'll get 9 times out of 10. 🙂

Quite the honest and informative response. I will admit I expected a "canned" response out of professional necessity of something like "we always wish our models the best.. blah blah blah in their ventures..blah blah blah" because that is the politically correct, professionally safe response and most are not brave enough to deviate from that safety. Thanks for the candid response. Since the question was directed to you initially, I should have refrained from making a response. To be honest, I thought you no longer produced videos. I've been out of the loop for a while. I remember hearing a gazillion rumors about RT and just kinda blew them off as word fluff.

I can understand why it *would* bother a producer to put the work into developing a model only to have her scammed away by another company (because it really *is* work, there's alot more involved in the making of a great video as opposed to a mediocre one, and most new models don't have a clue how to appear in the best light on camera). I know I'd be pissed beyond rational thought to be dicked around by another company if it were me.

I would think a genre specific contract would be fair. After all, there are work contracts with no competition clauses all the time. I'm just not sure how practical that is considering the nature of this particular business. Would it be within reason to have some sort of clause that the model would not do "tickling videos" or "foot fetish" for another company for a specified period of time? It seems that if it is actually workable it would alleviate the pressure from other companies for at least some minimum period of time.

I can understand a known vid star agreeing to do only a single video but it seems someone trying to break into the biz would be more apt to sign up for say three vids with a renewal option including a no competition clause for 24 months after the last video of the contract is released. Something like that anyway. I actually had no idea that the RT models had been lured by FM. If I am understanding that correctly, it's really crappy.

there is a particular model I worked with recently who I asked to refrain from doing tickling shoots with competitors. I didn't make it a clause in her contract (she only signed a short consent form for the footage), but since we were friends I asked her to do it as a favor to me. Not specifically for the reasons TIB cited, but mainly because I knew that if it came down to me butting heads with other, more established producers, I'd lose her in a flash and that would make what I *did* shoot with her borderline useless, as well as kill any chance of me working with her in the future (I wouldn't be able to afford her if she was commanding top dollar, as it were).

tummydragon, thanks for noticing. 🙂 i say screw "politicly correct." im a real person with his own feelings, opinions and ideas, and i'm not going to repress them for fear of stepping on someone's toes. i've always been that way. i don't care if i have some "business reputation" hanging in the balance. im going to be myself. that is probably why there's a handful of people on this forum that hate me. oh well.

example: a person might post something like:
TIB you suck and all of your videos are faked, and the girls are ugly, all of them. you're stuff isn't worth a penny.

now, the average producer/company might reply (and i've seen this):
we're sorry you don't like our work. we'll try harder and we thank you for your suggestions. may we offer you a free clip?

whereas i would reply:
fuck you then. no one is forcing you to do anything. don't buy our stuff and leave us alone!
