"Tickle attacks that backfired" stories

I am liking these "story collection" posts, so this is my latest attempt - tales where a would be tickler ended up on the tickling end of the equation. This comes from another "nice story that isn't quite True Stories worthy but maybe discussion worthy" - I mentioned it in a previous thread.

So, this girl who had been trying her best to get across her interest in a guy in the group for a while. At one point, at a party, she tried sneaking up behind him and tickling him under the arms. No effect. Her turned around and reached over to tickle her back, at which she somewhat unwisely yelped "shit" and ran for it - she didn't get far before he grabbed her and tickled her ribs until he got a laughter filled apology. It was only a few seconds, but I did like the smug, sneaky look on her face very abruptly switching to "oh, I may have miscalculated".

(In her defense, they're now engaged, so I guess she was onto something!)

So! Any similar stories you have of would-be lers ending up laughing?

Well, if she was trying to get the guy to notice her interest, it sounds like it was a total success.

I'd imagine she was thrilled when he chased her.

Oh, I'm very sure he does.

They always had a pretty pranky, playful one up-man-ship style relationship, and he definitely started using her ticklishness against her once he learnt about it, so while I've drifted a bit out of touch I think I can be confident he still does.

Her tickling had an afterlife: a prologue

Not surprisingly, when Rachel and I broke up her tickling of me came to an end. What was unusual was that in the months that followed she had, and took advantage of, a couple of opportunities to use her knowledge of my peculiar weakness to induce other people to tickle me. It wasn't a huge campus, and even though we didn't talk much anymore we still hung out in the same social circles. And, as we know, she was secretly evil.

The first time she pulled such a trick actually has a prologue--and, uncommonly enough for me, it's a prologue with...
