I used a feather edge-ways in between an old G/F's toes one time and she told me it felt like a razor to her. In the past, I've used nylons and shoestrings between the toes with much success. I always thought that that really thick yarn would have a great effect. (Don't worry, I don't knit. My sister and various relatives did!)
