Ratings, Ratings, Ratings, if the show was slipping they and they, not Kelly personally. You never know. When let's say a thousand of us wrote letters they producers see that number of like minded letters a upwards of a million viewers. That is the number they feel agree but didn't write a letter, so they will look at those request more seriously than you think. BUT, they would never do anything with celebs or present a fetish out and out. What may slip by is a viewer contest that involved tickling or something like getting Kelly to do one of those fish pedicures hoping she in fact is really ticklish. While I completely agree with the substance of what everyone has said against this idea, only a couple people made any effort to say it a nice way. It's a bad idea, we all agree on that, but let's take it down a notch, seriously.

The issue isn't whether the tickling would be a surprise or something known up front. The problem is that you are suggesting that a mainstream daytime show, primarily targeting housewives and older viewers, should go out of its to way to invite female celebrities on their show and then tickle them. This is not a show that has ever dealt with sexuality or fetishes because that is not what their very mainstream audience wants to see at 9am. Just because Kelly Ripa may enjoy playful tickles in her personal life does not mean she is going to start tickling female celebrities on her show to satisfy a bunch of horny male fetishists.
