tickle talent?

i've been reading posts that said something about how a new 'ler would not be the best, or would have a lot of work to become "good" or something... which struck me as odd. i can't imagine how hard it would be to tickle someone silly... i mean, all my boyfriends, who seemed to have no more interest then all "generic" boyfriends seem to, were pretty damn good at it! so i was just wondering how... i don't know, how a person can improve on tickling? what is something that only experience give you? (other than well deserved mock-fear...) anyone even know what i'm asking? i'm tired, so i'm not sure if even i know what i'm asking but... yeah.

it *is* possible to be bad at tickling. especially if you're working over someone's ribs using a poke method; if you don't know how to control your touch you can wind up prodding so hard it hurts, especially when clothing is involved.

Im sure with experience you get better at tickling, and find out how to get the best reaction out of a place, but everyone is different so to some you may have no experience and tickle them like crazy.

I have hardly any experience but when i tickle a girlfriend for a couple of seconds i seem to do the trick !!

a lucky few of us are born with it.

the rest of us learn how to do it well with practice.
it's a matter of paying attention to the ticklee, and adjusting your actions accordingly. trial and error if you will. the main idea should be to get laughter, and not hurt the ticklee.

I'll remember that the next time I request something from a piano player.

I've limited experience at being a 'lee, but I find myself looking at attractive men and wondering (among other things) if he's a good tickler or not. Like any aspect of a relationship, I imagine that a "good" tickler, above all, is a perceptive and attentive partner. You could probably weed out the bad ticklers by talking to them for ten minutes...the self-absorbed, inconsiderate ones are undoubtedly rotten ticklers.

Sad but true, some people are just bad ticklers. Too soft, too hard, too scattered, too something. It's unfortuante - I so rarely get tickled, it sucks when one of the times is by someone who clearly doesn't know what they're doing.

Oh yeah - and does anyone else get the feeling like Tummy's just trying to taunt us sometimes? 🙄 😛

I agree with this one. I basically just got into being tickled and sometimes I really don't want it to happen because my husband (who isn't all that good at tickling) sort of hurts me once in a while. DON'T get me wrong here he doesn't do it on purpose. It's just that if he has a fingernail to use, he presses kind of hard. Something I have to remind him of not to do, and sometimes he doesn't understand that it did hurt. He is getting better at tickling me though, it just takes time and practice. Almost like riding a bike, you have to practice to get good at it. Just like when one is into the D/s lifestyle it takes practice to crack the .

Ticklemebreezy, give your husband a manicure! I wonder, is he tickling you only because you want him to, or does he have a real desire to do it? If he's improving at it, does that mean he's turned on by it or only that he's being an astute learner for your benefit? I too recently introduced to my husband my desire for being tickled, and he's pretty good at it, but I wish more of the spark was in him. I'm really thankful that he's receptive to the idea in the first place, and willing to participate, BUT I can't help wishing he was like these 'lers that post here who get as hot from it as I do.

In my opinion, a "good" tickler is one who finds the spots that tickle on a 'lee, and sticks with them. Nothing gets more frustrating than watching a 'lee squirm like crazy when her feet are touched, only to see the 'ler jump back and go for a less ticklish spot.

If I get the chance to tickle, I'm going to tickle wherever I can get the best reaction. Just because I'd like her feet or belly to be ticklish doesn't mean they are going to be. It's all about the laughter baby 🙂

How about the videos everyone here likes so much? I'm deciding on which ones to get now so that when I can afford them (hopefully soon) I can quickly make my order. Seeing some expert tickling ought to give our men some wickedly good ideas, don't you think?

I haven't yet tried it but people say baby oil is great for making hard tickling smoother and even more ticklish. And trimming the nails real short would help, no?

One thing I make sure of is to tell and show my honey that when he tickles me all over it goes right through my hot zone as if he were touching me there. He likes having that power over my sexuality. Knowing that, I tried something new this week. I called him into the bedroom after having already cuffed and tethered myself spreadeagle, and he only had to fasten the final tether on my free wrist. I had laid all the tickle tools out in a pretty array (like myself). That night his tickling was inspired. 😀 Maybe you can inspire your man similarly.

You see alot of bad ticklers in videos. People who's fingers flail aimlessly, fluttering over no place in particular, barely touching the skin, let alone ticklish spots, while the ticklee fakes laughing uncontrollably. It's embarassing watching these videos, insults my intelligence. Cal Star videos have quite a few like this and even the better tickling video companies have scenes that the tickling is very weak. Sometimes the ticklee is not very ticklish but many times I blame the tickler for a bad scene or video. You really do need to pay attention to the ticklee, watch their reactions and see which spots and techniques work the best.

Actually, I have two that I got off of eBay (Magical Tootsie Tickle & Campout Coochy Coo). I like one of them, but the other I am glad that I got off of eBay. LOL!

A guy has strong hands and a girl has delicate skin. The guy would have a lot to learn about wielding his long nails on that skin. 😱 I'd rather not have to withstand the learning curve. I'm ticklish enough for my honey's fingers without nails to drive me up a wall. Somebody here posted that banjo picks are awesome tools, and I saw them on a 'ler's fingers in a video clip. So if your 'ler's nails were short maybe he could put on picks sometimes for a nail-simulation effect?
