Hello Mari,

Welcome to the TMF. I hope you enjoy the forum.

You may be thinking of laughter therepy which has several different branches that all hold the idea that laughing is good for the human system. None employ tickling, so what you may have heard is someones idea of a joke.

Hello Queen Bee, :wavingguy
Happy New Year and welcome to the Forum.
Hummmm. . .Tickle Therapy, that just sounds wonderful, doesn't it? At this time I believe that the only tickle therapy to be found around here is from other enthuastic members who would love to apply tickles to relieve your stress.

Enjoy your time here, nice to see someone from my home state.

As far as your question Myraids right about there being laugh therapy I've also heard of that to, but sadly not tickle therapy.

But being a tickleslave I wouldn't mind vollunterring to administer some, or for that matter recieving some. :jester:
Seriously I agree I to think that's a line someone just said to you there is no tickle therapy. :idontwann

Sure hope I answered that right?

I spotted this myself. i was going to report it, but didnt want to be a tattletale. glad someone else spotted it.

well we want to keep minors off here to avoid any possible repercussions...otherwise we may lose the whole thing..its great that theyre interested in tickling, but come back when youre 18, ya know.

Hello Queen Bee I myself would love to know if there is Tickle Therapy and if so I'd love to be a patient of it :2poke: :2poke:

No Tickle Therapy?!

What?! Are you sure? :idunno:
I always feel better after a good tickling! 🙄 :dog:

Besides,I once had a `ler tell me "Tickling is good for what ails you! I`m doing this for your own good!" :tickle:

Tickle Therapy Does Work

I posted on Craigslist offering to experiment with tickle therapy for stress relief and ended up getting together with two local people. I tickled them silly and they both reported what I knew they would. There was a feeling of euphoria and release from the endorphins and other natural drugs that result from the laughter.

The key is that the tickling must be sustained enough to produce hearty laughter. I had the idea because I know how I always feel after a good tickling.

Both people have contacted me since seeking a second treatment when they were particularly stressed.

My verdict is that it does work on people outside of the tickling community as well. You just have to know how to do it properly.

what the url of Craigslist you used.

I seem to recall a story, where a young woman about to be married, visits a therapist regarding her extreme ticklishness during lovemaking and a fear of being tickled. Of course she wanted to remedy this before her wedding night. The therapist's treatment was to have her face her fears by subjecting her to being restrained and tickled by himself and a few of his female assistants. It was a very enjoyable story, as I remember!

This really does work, and I've done it for two clinically depressed women, both of whom reported that it helped them greatly. It's not just for those of us in the TMF.
