I think its too soft myself as well. It would be like being tickled with tissue paper.

instead of using it for tickling, attach a vibraotr to it.

Interesting thought, but by sight, I estimate it to be too soft and the sensation too uniform.

Variability/irregularity that leads to an inability to accurately anticipate the sensation is a key factor in tickling, and a prime hurdle in creating a tickling machine.

To a certain degree, one can forego variability/irregularity for intensity and still be effective (for instance, the stiff bristles of an electric toothbrush -- uniform, but strong sensation), but intensity is something this device wouldn't have.

Still, it could likely be modified for at least a mild tickling sensation. Experiment. See what works. 🙂
