Tickled by someone you don't know very well...

I have a question. I got my feet tickled the other day while I was in bed, and they were sticking out the end. The woman who tickled me was a family friend, sort of long nails, etc etc. But it tickled like hell, (it only went on for about 7 or 8 seconds) but I think the reason it tickled so much was because it was someone I didn't REALLY know too well who had done it. When my fiance does it, it definitely tickles like mad, but different. Anyone else feel like this?

I know I like the situation where I'm doing the tickling to someone I don't know really well. It's often more exciting for some reason. A little bit of danger I guess

With a friend/lover, you know if they will stop if/when you say a safeword...

Ya I'm extra ticklish when a stranger does it; but not in a good way. When that happens, I feel hypersensitive but I'm so uncomfortable about it I react negatively; no laughter, I just get all tense and ticked off.

I remember the last time a stranger attempted to tickle me (a guy no less) and it took all my resolve to not swing at him... he was a collegue at work and an all-round nice guy but I just felt he was getting too friendly...

The only person I can really enjoy tickling me (besides my siblings) is my gf. Then the tickling feels nice and the experience is exhilirating and pleasent... otherwise, its just uncomfortable.

Camel- I think you've hit the nail on the head. Also, you're not used to the way someone know will tickle I guess. Anyways, It's scary!

It's not surprising at all that there would be a different reaction depending on how well you knew someone. For me it's just the opposite though. The more intimately I know someone the MORE if affects me. If I dont know the person very well or am uneasy around them I am just as likely to turn off the reaction almost completely.

I dunno if it's the same for me exactly, but I'm hardly ticklish at all when tickled by someone I don't know. Granted, I'm not that ticklish anyway, but I think most people are more ticklish around someone they are comfortable with, although I could be wrong.

I have tickled alot of people that I didn't know well and they for some reason had better re-actions then those I new very well and new it was coming. Some re-acted very well and laughed and others re-acted not so agreeable.
