"Tickled" documentary featured on movie site.

Yea, true, I figured once their friends and family saw the videos online, there might be a lot of "OH NO! I wasn't experimenting in college, I was preyed upon".

Now, that's just speculation but c'mon....

Interesting. I was thinking in terms of the producers/companies, and the person who shall not be named...

Oh, that too! I think everyone involved wanted to downplay the sexuality of it but we all know the reality. 😉

If I can orgasm from tickling, and every single time I've tickled, I've felt....movement from other body parts...it's most certainly sexually charged. 😉

Of course! But for some people, denying the sexual aspect is critical to denying other things (like the documentary's main character)

Sorry to bump this up, but I just watched the documentary and WOW! :-O It reminds me of some CSI, Dateline, Law and Order type stuff. It was really well done! And it got me thinking so much that I logged on to TMF (first time in years) just to see everyone's take on it. I had to talk about it!

I have to admit there were times I really cringed, and thought, "Is this really happening?!!!" I never quite knew all the things that happened when "Terri" was taken down. But to hear that he's been at it for so long... FOR SO LONG! The law is supposed to protect these guys, but it is creepy and scary to see how much money and having the right name/ knowing the right people can protect someone.

So- This mystery, the tickle cells, the lies, threats, the fear.... everything is real- So is the other side. Even the story of when the other film maker first discovered that he liked tickling and searched AOL to find others loved it too- That story is the same as many of us. (Or at least the older ones of us who came through.)

This movie tugged on my heart more than I thought it would. I found myself wanting to fight to save the reputation of these guys, and I wanted to see the source of this criminal bullying taken down.

Overall- I don't think it will damage the entire community. I feel like there will always be people who will think we are strange or will be put off by any for of "deviancy". A documentary of someone breaking the law isn't going to change that. The movie is well worth looking into. I know that we see ourselves in bits and pieces of i,. but it is truly the story of exposing a person, not the fetish as a whole.

:-* Miss you guys!

One way you can help the community is by sharing the interview I had with one of the co-directors of the film. During the interview, I announced that I am part of the m/m tickling community and how things kinda go down for us. I make the point that this has always been a part of me and also that many str8-identified men enjoy m/m tickling, but for a variety of reasons, don't make it know even to their friends. I have, so far, not received negative response for my podcast, nor for letting some of my friends know that I'm into this. What might help them along as well is suggesting the book called "Perv," which makes a good historical and studious view of fetishism.
