Tickled to insanity

Okay so we all know that a prolonged tickling session can be physically draining for the 'lee. But is it possible for a 'lee to be tickled for so long that they end up in a weakened psychological state?

I mean could they be left in a such a way that they sit there and drool and babble to themselves or are curled up in a fetal position? Or maybe even laugh to themselves even though the tickling has stopped?

Has anyone ever seen or experienced this or can offer some insight on this?

I would imagine that you could probably get into a state of weeping uncontrollably or even laugh to the point of passing out if you can't get enough air. My gf used to get me in a spot that I couldn't handle even for a few seconds. If she kept going there is a good chance I would've been in tears or gasping for air.

I call that "being tickled senseless" and I have experienced it a few times, always with multiple ticklers. It was usually only about two or three minutes to recover my senses.

This has happened to me numerous times, usually after being tickled
past my limit of about 20 minutes. My Owner is the only one who has
ever tickled me stupid, and occasionally that has been along with one
other 'ler as well. Generally what happens is that I'll start to cry, and
she'll keep tickling, and I'm laughing and crying (not crying from laughing
so hard, but legitimately crying), and eventually she'll stop and I'll still
be crying, and then I'll just start laughing hysterically as though I'm still
being tickled. She'll just hold me for awhile until I stop shaking and reacting.
It's pretty intense, and while I love the bonding experience, I can't handle
this type of intense tickling very often. Spanking and flogging, now there's
something I'll take everyday. 😉

I found this at Wikipedia.
'Orrible Murder: An Anthology of Victorian Crime and Passion Compiled from the Illustrated Police News (by Leonard De Vries, published by Book Club Associates in London in 1974) (pp 73–4) reissued a news item first published in the Illustrated Police News on December 11, 1869: 'A Wife Driven Insane by Husband Tickling Her Feet.' The account states that Michael Puckridge had previously threatened the life of his wife, described as "an interesting looking young woman." Puckridge tricked his wife into allowing herself to be tied to a plank. Afterward, "Puckridge deliberately and persistently tickled the soles of her feet with a feather. For a long time he continued to operate upon his unhappy victim who was rendered frantic by the process. Eventually, she swooned, whereupon her husband released her. It soon became too manifest that the light of reason had fled. Mrs. Puckridge was taken to the workhouse where she was placed with the other insane inmates." (page 74) The husband was given away by Mrs. Puckridge's niece who was aware of the torture and spoke to neighbors about it. The article does not say if Puckridge confessed his crime to the niece after the deed was done, or if the niece actually watched the feather relentlessly scraping away at her aunt's soles, and ultimately, her sanity.

Nice legend, but that's pretty much all it is. I've heard that from numerous places. Just like the ghostly hitchhiker. 🙂

it has happened to me on a couple occasions... the drained, almost fetal position.... using my hands to cover my bare feet! and once i kept laughing (forcefully) for about 10 minutes after. Weird shit, huh?
