Ticklemachine

I was thinking of making a ticklemachine because I can't tickle myself😀 does someone has a good idea how to make a good ticklemachine?

I was thinking about something like a crankshaft with on each crank a small rope or wire with nuts in it tied between the two crankshafts.and than an electric motor that drives the crankshafts...its just a thought..😉

Not sure of what you described. Can you clarify you design a bit. Also what are you trying to tickle. You belly, feet, or underarms?

I ''disigned'' it for upperbody use but you can also use it for your feet when you lower the rear legs...

You can also mount other things on the wires like some feathers or something😀

I see what you are talking about now. Have you built anything like this or tried rope with nuts or knots to see if the effect is what you are looking for? My first thought, being a life long foot tickler, it that the most important aspect of tickling feet that make the finger work so well is the randomness of the movement. I think this is the one thing that really makes the designing of a tickle machine difficult. That is if you are looking for hysterical and intense laughter. One idea I worked on years ago was to have a blunt scrib like device, (like you have with a Palm Pilot) move randomly and in circles on the soles of the feet. The problem was building it. I really didn't know how. Also the other probelm is holding the foot in place without hurting the ticklee or eliminating some of the contact with the device doing the tickling.

As far as tickling the upper body, I see this and other sets of problems to work out, gain depending on the type of laughter you are going for. So lets see if others her can through in some good suggestions and maybe help work out the design with you.

A cheap hack I've found is if you wear a really big long sleeved silk shirt and then run a fan you can get waves going through the silk that have some randomness, it doesn't tickle a hell of a lot but its easy and better than nothing. I know of at least 2 different machines that have actually been built but they are both pretty complicated.

Actually, if someone commissioned me I would probably get off my arse and make a machine. I have an electronics degree and a friend with mechanical skillz who knows about my fetish, so I have the resources to do it. I just don't have much motivation right now since I have 'lers readily available. 😉
