Tickler in A Dirty Shame: Tony the tickler - coincidence or proper research?

I find it intriguing that John Waters used the name Tony for the tickler character.
Did anyone else who saw the movie find it interesting he chose tha name?

It may be coincidental and the alliteration (Tony the tickler) may have just sounded funny.Perhaps he researched into our fetish and found the mainstream mentions of Don Tortelli and his father Tony "the tickler" Tortelli.
Its "A Dirty Shame" Tony wasn't at the Sex club/Garage tickling an attractive woman.

Never saw the film, but was thinking of picking it up (love Tracy Ulman).

Tony the tickler tickles/annoys Selma Blair, who plays the daughter, in the ribs at a Sexaholic meeting.
