Tickling and Gags

This is a subject that I haven't seen discussed here in a while.

I'm very fond of gags as a part of bondage in general, and I particularly like them for tickling. There's something about making the 'lee unable to even beg for mercy that I quite enjoy. Plus, I find that a gagged 'lee becomes even more vocal (less verbal , but more vocal ), and even more expressive with his/her eyes.

There are some special safety issues with gags, of course.

Safewords: when playing with a gagged partner I use "three of anything." Three quick sounds, three finger-snaps, three taps on my arm, etc means "Take the gag off - I need to say something crucial." Others have the bottom hold something that will make a noise when dropped, but I find that in the heat of the moment it's easy to lose a grip on something like that.

Breathing: There are several gag styles that block speech while not blocking breathing. The "whiffle ball" gag is a classic. Bit gags also work. So does a cleave gag if it's not too thick. The main problem is with gags that involve some sort of mouth packing - usually cloth or cloth and tape. These can be hard to breathe around when the nose is blocked (as from regular congestion or being tickled to tears).

Note: someone with asthma or a similar problem should use gags very cautiously. But if you're tickling someone with any breathing difficulty you have to move carefully and have their inhaler or other medication close at hand.

Jaw problems: TMJ can be a problem with gags. Slim gags such as bits and slender cleave gags are less likely to be an issue.

So is anyone else a fan of gags and tickling?

Irish and I use gags very often. She enjoys the submission, and being in my control. She is athsmatic, but we are sure to keep her nose clear so she can breathe. She passes out every now and then (mostly from overly powerful sexual stimulation) with the gag on, but it happened again a couple weeks ago without the gag, so I guess I'm just that good of a ler. ;-)

Love the gags. No problems yet.

Do you have any styles that you use often? I'm always interested in ideas.

We really like duct tape. We haven't had the chance to experiement with any other types so far, but I look forward to a red ballgag.

I like the idea of gags, so I don't make too much noise! 😱

I'd fancy a simple duct tape one, myself.

I've always had a lot of trouble keeping that stuff on. Skin oils and sweat seem to peel it off in minutes. Have you found a way around that?

Do you favor tape alone, or use it to hold something else in place?

I have been a long time fan of gags in tickling. It completes the bondage and the scene. My ex and I played with some decent bondage, she was way into it. We had all kinds of ballgags and head-harness stuff.

But please do follow the above safety precautions. He's serious.

Gag me

I tend to cough and start choking if I'm tickled really intensely, so I have stayed away from gags. However, I had not thought about whiffle-balls or ring gags - what a great idea! I hope that I will get to try those out sometime in the near future =)

I've got millions of 'em. :blaugh: In a similar vein you might look into Whitehead dental gags, and there are also some specialized ball or plug-style gags that have holes drilled through them (usually to allow administration of liquids or insertion of small objects, but air moves through them just fine).

I can PM you a list of links with suggestions, if you like.

I hope that I will get to try those out sometime in the near future =)
I can't imagine that you'd have long to wait, if you want it.
