Tickling and sex in fiction

So, this is just a general question I have. I've been working on some stuff lately, and I wanted to get peoples opinion. When it comes to tickling fiction, do people like there to be actual sex in the fiction, or do they prefer it to be more focused on the actual tickling?

In my experience, I find people prefer to just have the tickling. I've written numerous stories and have made many comics and no one has ever asked me to put any sex in my stories.

It really doesn’t matter to me. I first look to “buy in” to the story that is being told. If the tickling portion is written accordingly towards being sexual, I’ll follow along, lol!

That's probably as subjective as anything. I think readers select erotic fiction because they seek to experience the emotions they associate with something. If they pick a story that also has something else, it's probably because they think the desired emotions also have something to do with the something else. And it's completely possible for a reader to unexpectedly discover they resonate with something they weren't looking for.

I would keep my advice to an author vague and say things like "listen to your gut," "follow your first impulse before thought creeps in," and so on. If you feel like you're guessing too much about how or what to write, try to take yourself back to a point before you felt like you were guessing.

Hmm. I used to like stories that focused exclusively on tickling when I was, comparatively speaking, new to the fetish. Also I'd never had a sexual experience that involved tickling.

Now however I like stories that incorporate both tickling and sex. It's not a big deal, I'll still like a story that doesn't have sex. It's just that tickling is pretty much an explicitly sexual thing for me now, so I enjoy some sex in my tickling fiction.
