the brits here will know that a week long programme has just begun on channel called 'shattered' in which contestants compete for £100,000 by staying awake for one week without any sleep.
Without going in to too much detail the contestants are given tasks to cause them to sleep and tested to allow them to stay in the game. I think there is opportunity in this show for tickling to occur: maybe not as a challenge or task but as a technique to stay awake from your co-competitors. Tickling excites you, makes you laugh and so temporarily makes you alert. Any thoughts on this?
Could a five minute tickle first thing in the morning be more effective then a coffee from starbucks?!
