I remember when AOL started becoming incredibly popular and the tickling world exploded: The Rock Man (the rocking), Yaqi's world, TickleFiend's clips. While the clips weren't the best quality for today's standards and quite short as clips, they were gold. I joined back in 2001 under a different user name and I can never forget realizing that I wasn't alone.
The first clip I saw was around 30 seconds long from Rock. I was amazed that this existed at all. I will never forget that clip. I became a loyal member to him from that point forward.
When Realtickling started coming out and the TC clips would be in the clip forum, I would be so happy. I remember one of the first clips I bought was 'One Young Laughter' or TC5450. The other was TC 5007, my first dungeon clip.
I would go to the clips section of the TMF everyday to see the newest clips. It was rare to find a clip over 2 minutes but if you did it would make a day. There were no tools, just the tickling trinity I call it: fingers, nylons and feathers. Soon, to make a longer clip you could download in data sections and merge them with a program.
After awhile, Yahoo started having clips if you searched for them by page 12 or something obscure. Youtube would have a TC 5 minute clip (they had a 5 minute clip phase for awhile) before it was taken down here and there. Dogpile was also a go to for new tickling material. I asked jeeves about it but he didnt seem to know about tickling.
Now its everywhere. Dailymotion, youtube, bing ect. Entire videos and 20 minute sections are on there.
I'm not complaining! HD is incredible. Electric toothbrushes push over the edge. I guess I just miss calling 1-888-755-FEET and knowing a VHS would be on its way.
So cheers to the past and the old tickling days...oh and to Lily. A legend.
