Tickling/Fetish Specifics?

I've noticed, both in myself and others, how specific and detailed we can get when it comes to our fetishes, and find it interesting in that it helps explain why no matter how much we like a certain studio or how attractive we find a certain model, certain tickling position, etc., it may not resonate with others at all. Also for me, some of these things have really evolved over the years into more and more detailed interests. For example, when I was a kid, any site of a pretty girl's/woman's feet excited me, no matter what I view I had of it. Over the years, I've required more and more specific desires, like seeing the tops of an attractive woman's feet doesn't really do much for me, so it became a fixation on the soles of the feet. And while I've always also had a nylon fetish, I realized I only cared to see sheer nylons without reinforced toe. I could go on and on about these little details, but it's insane how these things seem to evolve over time and we constantly need change in what really stimulates/arouses us. I don't know how common this is, but I'm guessing it's fairly common, but probably doesn't apply to everyone. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Yes. I enjoy watching tickling media in general, but my favorites are ones where you can easily insert yourself or imagine yourself in the situation (e.g. ticklee POV, lee's face isn't shown, lee looks somewhat like you)

It's great to get the perspective of a lee. I'm guessing you're a lee yourself, or maybe a switch?

On the consumer side, I think I liked the same style playful clearly consensual stuff that I love today, but since tickle torture was what was out there, that’s what I went with.

From the producer side, what you are describing is the vexing part of making content. You basically have to shoot what you like (and hope it catches on) or what the demand dictates to stay in business.

This is why you see four points restraints, stocks, and the like so often. Those are what tend to sell, so producers create more of that.

If you want a different style, you either order a custom or create it yourself. From there, you pray to whatever you believe in, that you aren’t the only one into whatever form of tickling you’re making. Then you gotta pray again that those people into it will purchase it.

Just checked out your websites and it looks like you've made some great content! Whoever Rose is, wow! 😍

I think if one has a passion for anything - in art, in business, in creating something, in a particular genre or whatever, including a passion for tickling, it is natural to go very deep in details. Sometimes that can become too limiting. Say, so much focus on a particular ticklish spot - feet, armpits, etc - and you could lose out on a larger field of play, so to speak.

But I think it is normal to go to the nth degree of detail for something that is a passion or desire that is never far from one's thoughts.

I have some specifics when viewing tickle vids that I prefer. Almost uniformly, when I watch the ones that really get to me, I end up mentally replacing the lee's face with my ticklish wife's face. Each to his/her own.

The feet vs upper body thing is one that most can relate to. No matter how intense the ticklees reaction, foot tickling has never aroused me in any way. Same for when the victim wears clothes beyond occasional sexy lingerie.

Another thing: with rare exceptions, either blindfolding or gagging the victim makes any tickling scene less arousing to me. What comes out of a tickle-tortured girl's mouth and what's going on in her eyes is half the fun.

I had to think about this for a minute. My interests have definitely evolved, but it's more about exploring new things than more and more specific interests. Overall, I think I've actually become more flexible in my tickling interests over time. I'm very interested in real-world connections through tickling, and I think that human connection piece makes it easier to focus on exploration more than targeting something very specific. During times when I focused more on content, I found I leaned into it in a more and more obsessive and somewhat unhealthy way. I'm sure everyone's experiences and reasons are different, but I do come across a lot of people with very specific hyper-fixations in the tickling community.

My preferences remain steady. Woman ✔️ about my age ✔️ Belly ✔️ sides ✔️ cannot get enough tickling ✔️ admit I'm a tad inflexible.

It's been great reading everyone's take on this, so thanks to everyone for the thought provoking responses!

I like your approach and wish I had those real-world connections with tickling. It makes sense that focusing too much on content, with these hyper-fixations rather than actual connections, could lead to unhealthy obsessions or behaviors, but I'm glad there are people making great content for those of us like me stuck in the wilderness of romance and relationships. The end goal for me has always been to find genuine connections, and the content was always meant to help me get thru the lonely times, but unfortunately for me it's become a chronic conundrum.

Thank you–I'm sorry you're having that experience and hope that you get to have more human connections with tickling. I think it's very much like how porn affects people in general. For some it can be an addiction, but even if not, for most it rewires the brain in ways that can be hard to predict, and that are usually undesirable. It simulates reality without producing the fruits of it. I wish you the best as you deal with this 🙏
