programming lesson 1: gif is an archive specially designed to contain animation in repetitive cycles, so yes you could create gifs, but, it could be time consuming and daunting for those not experienced in C programming, Im a programmer not God so if a mod wants to correct me you are welcome cause I ve never tried it myself this is what I have heard

was hoping for a simpler solution...like a freeware or something...I could extract vidcaps from clips (video2photo) or have some collection of stills in sequence but couldn`t put them together. Is there an app to do this?

Nice ones 🙂 By the way a creating gif programs do exist, one that is very simple to use is EasyGif Animator link here :

It's a free program, but you have if iremember well ...... 50's or so tries. See by yourself what it mean.
