I was just wondering about actor/tresses who are in tv and in movies. This may be a silly question but I want to ask it anyway. When an actor/ress tries out for a tv show or movie, if they discover after reading the script that there is tickling invloved, do they have the option of saying to the director or who ever ask them to take out those scene/es if they are bothered by tickling? I don't know if anyone would know but I am just wondering.

:grouphug:

Hmmm....

Well. If they realy want the actor. They will more than likely do near anything to keep that ator/actress happy. So I would assume unless the tickling was essential to the moment in the story, Then the director would probably have no problem taking it out.

Mike 🙂

Ticklishmikey is right. If the actor in question was the lead in the film and a major star, like Tom Cruise or Al Pacino, and they wanted the scene taken out, it would probably be taken out.

If the actor was an unknown and his being in the movie would not make or break the entire project, then he would be told he needs to deal with it, or he would be replaced.

Just An Example . . .

I am sure that the actor-actress will read the script first before they accept the role. If there is a tickling scene in it & they have a problem with it, then they could discuss it with the director, producer & probably the screenwriter about possibly deleting that par-tickler part of the scene.
For instance. . .
In the up-coming Aeon Flux starring Charlize Theron.
I have NOT seen the film yet or read the script so I am speculating. . .
In the cartoon there is a foot licking scene in it. IF (a big if) that scene was in the film & Charlize Theron objected to that part of the scene, it IS very possble that she made them cut that out from the script.
Who knows what was in the actual shooting script.
I doubt VERY much that she will have her bare soles licked. If that scene IS in there & filmed & kept in the final cut I will be VERY surprised.
Delighted beyond belief, but surprised.
Why do I bring this up?
The fact is that in order to stay faithful to the story line, they SHOULD include the foot licking scene in it to remain faithful.
But . . . we know all too well that Hollywood has a way of screwing things up.

I just saw Aeon Flux.
Sometimes I HATE being right.
There was only a teeny tiny little itty bitty qiock glance at her bare feet as she was getting up from a bed totally naked.
You only see her feet for a slpit second as she is scooting forward to get up from the bed.
THAT'S IT!
Nothing more.
the movie itself is, eh, ok I guess. Nothing great.
I am not going to run out & buy it when it comes out on DVD UNLESS there will be deleted scenes where she is barefoot. But I doubt very much if anything like that will be offered.
All in all. . . Disappointing.
Of course, this is only MY opinion.
Others may love it.

I don't know either but I would like to know the thoughts of three actresses from the following. Gloria Pall in the brothers Karamozov. The actress, her name skips my memmory, in the John Wayne movie( North To Alaska). And Joyce DeWitt in those many episodes of Three's Company. They had to endure some tickling. If I was the actor tickling them I would have made alot of mistakes purposley just to continue tickling them! Thanx

I thought the moving looked lacking in the first place. I didn't know there was supposed to be any signifigant scene on her feet. It just seems to remind me of Catwoman: Sexy woman in tight suit beats up on people. It's for the wankers.

It really seems unlikely to me that an actor would request a scene with tickling to be taken out. Typically tickling movies lasts like, two seconds, so I can't imagine people having a problem with it. If they did, they would probably just ask that their fellow actor not actually tickle them, and then just fake the laughter.

I honestly can't imagine that ever becoming an issue.
