I agree that there is nothing wrong with m/m tickling. I also think that is has nothing to do with sexual preference so long as there is no sex involved. Kids tickling each other is more socially acceptable than adults tickling each other. Our society sees nothing weong with boys tickling each other even up to the college level. Some homophobic people will no doubt see m/m tickling as gay, even though they may think f/f tickilng is okay. I would say do it if you want to but just keep it private to avoid narrow minded people's disapproval.

Reading this thread brings to mind a cute story from my senior year of highschool. It's worth noting before i start that i am bisexual and i had come out about it already at the time. Now, you see, i was the only boy in my gymnastics class and it's more than accurate to say that i wound up being tickled on more than one occasion in there. Hehe, in fact that's where i earned my nick name "kitten." All the girls lovingly refered to me as their "tickle-kitten." And the name stuck and followed me around since. Sorry, hehe, anyways. So, on one special day the girls decided it would be fun to tickle me while i was working on my uneven bars routine. i was getting pretty damn good to. But the thing is that the uneven bars are right in front of the open doors to the hallway where everyone from all the gym classes gather to wait for the bell and change. So not only was i haging from a high wooden rod and trying not to lose my grip but i was being tickled from the waist down by three or four girls in front of all the guys from the weightlifting class. Hehe, more than a little embarassing. So my face was pretty red by the time i got into the locker room and started to change. It didn't take long for someone to comment on my little adventure and wouldn't you know it...in a matter of seconds i was being held down on the lockeroom floor and tickled litterally to tears by a few of my friends. When the girls saw me come out of the locker room with tears in my eyes they started laughing. Hehe, now i'll be the first to admit that i love attention. But i'm just not used to being in such a bright spotlight for so long. But it was fun. Every single person who tickled me knew i was bi and no one thought twice about it. JJ -- Males, not "men." For most males, if something like that is going to happen, it will happen sometime around puberty. Common sense should tell you that can't be true for men! I doubt it's true for males. LOL

Men are by nature sexually adicted beings. it is openly admitted that in constricted situations such as extended stays in prison that they will forgo female companionship for the companionship of a male.

for years i have tried to point out the gateway to homosexuality in Hip Hop Culture (long story, it would take too long) and as if on cue "The Down Low" a book about the black homosexuall underworld was published.

In this very thread we are whitnessing the justification for a man tying another man up, performin a seually related sadomasochistic act, (and some have freely admitted to the point of high arousal) and do you mean to tell me in the innocent experiments that acccidents don't happen. and then ofcourse you have the Manson crowd who have blowjob competitions before concerts (his words not mine). he and his band members see which one gives the best. when you talk about common sense you have to consider all factors.

I do value your point distinguishing men from males, but i don't think that it is an age issue, I believe that it is an issue of the direction one takes, and i will leave it at that.

And by the way, it warms my heart to see flourishing couples that have found soulmates in our world of shadows, the two of you really inspire me.

I think you make some excellent points. I do think it's true that there are lots more gay men out there than you could count, precisely *because* so many are in denial. But I shy away from statistics that attempt to show us that "hey, EVVVVVVVVerybody's gay!!" No, everybody isn't. Most people aren't. Only a very few are. (and so what if only a few are? Most of us are *something* that only a few are, relatively speaking)

Statistics can say just about anything. Even good statistics can mislead, because there's one very true thing about the calculus of statistics: Garbage in, garbage out. For example, it's very hip right now to be bisexual, and so lots of young adults are calling themselves bi, even though they may never have had a homosexual experience (and probably never will). If you go by how many people would classify themselves as at least bisexual, you'll overcount the number who *actually* are, because you have assumed that (a) everyone who calls themselves bisexual has actually had sex with another person of their sex, and (b) everyone who calls themselves bisexual today will call themselves bisexual tomorrow. But neither is necessarily true.

I think the truth is that we can never know how many people have had a homosexual experience, but -- you know -- so what? Do we NEED to know?? LOL
