Tickling Myth's

That strong mental resolve can stop someone from being ticklish. It may take longer for them to lose their composure and succumb to the tickling, but they eventually will.

And,

That tough muscle and toned guys and girls aren't ticklish or can resist being ticklish easily.

Agreed!
If you're ticklish, you're ticklish.
Some may try to hide it to comply with the tough, muscled persona that you describe. But you cannot control it. Eventually you have to give in the the tickles.
 
If you tickle someone, even a little bit, they will detonate and vaporise everything within a 30m radius.

I'm fairly sure that's not true.

I remember when Emma Watson insisted she had become immune to tickling because she was tickled so much earlier in life. I still don't believe that. 🙄😁

To add to your correct comment...I read an interview once where a submissive was part of a household of subs who all had one master...the sub mentioned how of all the BDSM things the master would do to his 'slaves'....Tickling was by far the worst! He said you could get used to the feel and pain of a paddle or cane...but that tickling (tickle torture) was so much worse bec you couldn't ever get accustomed to the variety of touches and pressures from even fingers much less if tools were used. And since no one is able to perform exactly the same repetitively, even the same dom using the same tool or fingers will have enough variations that you can't anticipate it enough to resist...
I thought his comments were incredibly enlightening as to the depth and characteristics of our chosen fixation!
 
The real myth is that tickling at renaissance fairs is common. Most of those clips are from 2 places in Europe and its basically a thing in comics and cartoons.
 
If this thread has shown anything, its maybe that the myth is that there are actual tickle myths. Most of the purported "myths" seem to be more just variable to the person haha

I can definitely attest that the "socks automatically make you less ticklish" myth is false. I've had girlfriends try tickling me barefoot with almost no reaction, but if they try again when I have socks on, oh boy.
