Tickling On The Big Screen

Do you think there will ever come a time where a movie will center around tickling? Or that some character in a film will have a tickling interest? With all the movies out there covering a wide variety of topics and interests, you would think that tickling would show up eventually.

I doubt there will come a time when there is a mainstream movie centring around tickling (although, in some ways I wish there was, as anything which brings the joy of tickling to a wider, more mainstream, audience can't be a bad thing, eh?!)

Unfortunately, I can't really see a scene in a movie where someone is tickled whilst tied up (i.e. for information extraction, etc) - a lot of the audience would laugh at this as being silly, which is why movies tend to show more "intense" methods of torture/information extraction

I think we're going to continue to be confined to the odd few seconds of playful "tickling" (if I can even call it that!) in mainstream movies

I agree that it could be good to see a character in a movie with an "interest" in tickling, but it would depend upon the context of that character i.e. if the character is one of the good guys, or a villain - I mean, if the character was a murderer/rapist, etc, and yet had a tickling "interest" - it really wouldn't be that great for our "cause"!

There have been several mainstream films that showed tickling with bondage. The ones I know of:

"The Brothers Karamazov" (1958) Lee J. Cobb tickles Gloria Pall while she is tied to a bed spread-eagled.

"Summer Lovers" (1982) Daryl Hannah tickles Peter Gallagher while he is tied tightly to a bed.

"Great Catherine" (1968) Jeanne Moreau (playing the Empress Catherine the Great) has Peter O'Toole brought to her chambers, already tied up securely. She proceeds to tickle torture him for quite a while and orders him to kiss her bare foot. IMHO, the greatest F/m scene in a mainstream film ever.

though i can agree that there may never be a big screen, big bucks movie that centers around tickling (especially in the non-creepy way), there is always the possibility of some enterprising independent company that will. i mean, tickling as a fixation/sexual stimulus has been researched in our history, seen for brief moments in cinema and T.V., and even talked about on talk shows. one can only assume that, eventually, a small studio will make a movie about tickling itself, or how a specific character is a ticklephile, show it at Cannes, and maybe even put tickling in a better spotlight.

Will movies have tickling in them? Sure. Will there ever be one focused entirely and only on tickling? No. Not in my lifetime at least.

Yup there sure will be. I'm making that movie cuz my main character will have a barefoot tickling fetish and his dream sequence will have Jessica Simpson in stocks going nuts from being tickled.

Yeah, there won't be. EVER. Unless society underwent a massive change, which won't be that massive even then. And let's be honest, watching a whole hour and a half or more mostly consisting of tickling would be boring for all but those really into it.

If they can make movies like Saw & Hostel , which are basically movies for people who get off on watching people get mutilated & tortured , then I'll never say "never" to the possibility that tickling and/or tickle-torture can someday play a prominent role in a mainstream movie.

I'm not gonna hold my breath or anything , but forever is a long time. Eventually ... everything comes to pass. It may not be the MAIN theme of a movie , but at some point , I can certainly see a movie that boasts a crazy-long tickle-torture scene ( & by 'longer' I mean more than the 30 seconds to a minute stuff that we may have been lucky enough to get thus far ) or a character within the movie that has a tickling-fetish ... someday becoming a reality.

Look at it this way ... somebody greenlit SuperBabies : Baby Geniuses 2 ( like Baby Geniuses really needed a follow-up ) ... ANYTHING is possible!

If we were going to see major tickle torture in a movie, it would probably be in a comedy that spoofed "torture porn" movies like Saw or Hostel. The victim is tied up, you're expecting a dentist drill to the eyeball or something and instead.....TICKLE TIME!

There is still so much fear in 'mainstream' society that even the great Quentin Tarantino DELETED the foot tickling scene from his Death Proof segmant from Grindhouse. Why would he omit that scene from the film? He could easily have kept that part in & edited out some of the dialogue shit that no one cared about.
I'm sure it will be part of the 'Deleted Scenes' section of the DVD release, but that's after the fact.
If there will ever be a character in a major motion picture with a TRUE tickle fetish, they will make him out to be a nut-case. I hope NOT, of course.

With close to 500 channels coming to cable soon....ya gotta fill that much TV with SOMETHING. I actually think you'll see it on cable before its in a theater. The recent "Tickle Torture Television" could actually happen if the market called for it. I had actually thought a combined Spanking and Tickling exclusive TV channel ("Give me my F TV") could be possible now as long as there was a fool proof way to keep minors from accessing content. There is enough content to supply such a channel and a nightly "Tonight show" style show each night highlighting fetish stars and their latest actually could do well I think.

Would anyone here actually subscribe to a Tickling/spanking hybrid? What would you be willing to pay? $25/month? $50? Some people used to think a magazine like Playboy wouldn't work....

CSI Vegas aired an episode about a guy with a foot fetish about a year ago. The downside: he was portrayed as psycho rapist/killer who broke into womens homes, tied them up and painted their toe nails! Really folks I'm not making this up. Call CBS and verify this if you want. I'd love to see a movie that had tickling as its focus but not if it portrayed "us" as psycho losers. I consider myself a well rounded guy with lots of intrest. I'm gainfully employed, (2 careers) athletic, and good looking and have no problems attracting women. I just happen to love tickling just like many of you. I would much rather see a documentary on the subject of tickling. Someone told me that HBO's Real Sex series did a segment on this a few years ago but I have not be able to verify this.

I see your point, but here's how that is.

Hostel is a horror movie. What would a tickling movie be considered? Keep in mind, it has to appeal to the general public, or be in one of the basic categories (comedy, romance, action/adventure, etc etc.)

I doubt anybody will try to create a new genre just for tickling and even if they did, I doubt it would come to pass.

I think you should direct it for sure... and star in it, yeah, definetely... you'd make a good smart ass tickler I think...
