Tickling PaySites not doing what they promise to do........

Seems like it's a new trend..... It is happening with many of the once better tickling paysites around. Hopefully it will end soon.

I'm sure I am not the only one here who feels frusterated having signed up for a site that seems promising only to be dissapointed at the lack of updates.

I think even though it's a business dispute, it does have a place here, because there are a lot of folks reading this section who would benefit from knowing if tickling paysites are not what they promise. I agree personally, I only joined one, but it was well known and I was thoroughly disappointed when after the second month there was still no new material. Are paysites not making enough money to support the creation of new video clips?

The producers can't win, and how do you even know the person making the post is telling the truth.

A couple years ago some guy was bitching about Jeff not sending tapes. He started whioning THREE days after he sent the payment, even though Jeffs site said it might take 6 weeks for delivery. In the complainers eyes, even though he sent the payment in KNOWING it might take 6 weeks, that was unsat in todays day and age.

He called Jeff dishonest, deceitful and the like. Jeff to his credit tried to handle it privately. The sad thing is Jeff was ill at the time and had a perfectly valid excuse to be late on the vids. The fact was the guy got his vids in something like 4 weeks, well within the 6 week window, but he whined for weeks.

Keep business disputes private.

I respectfully disagree with the premise that disputes with paysites cannot be made public here on the TMF. This is a fetish site, and the sign says "Tickling Discussion." As any cursory look at the thread topics will show, this includes all things related to tickling - and yes, the question of where and how we gratify our fetish is foremost among those topics. We could apply the same restrictions that you propose to those "favorite movie/scene/clip" threads that come up repeatedly: could not such postings represent a kind of unfair endorsement of certain companies at the expense of others? Yes, of course they could - but for the most part they do not. And I will simply remind you that the initial thread poster did not single out any particular company for opprobrium - the case is thus so far vastly different from that of the disgruntled MTP consumer you describe. So let the man speak.

Seriously, while I agree that people shouldn't do the B & M routine in public until/unless they speak to the owner first and are unable to resolve things (in a reasonable period of time), I think we should let one another know what our experiences are with pay sites and the like. That's why we have the paysite review forum here.

This specific thread was about pay sites in general and not any one specific producer. It raises a valid point. There ARE some sites that started out with a lot more than they currently provide. That's the nature of the business, I guess. But, I'd rather have folks share their experiences with individual sites and know what to expect than join and be disappointed...and only find out later that the problem is a recurring one with that site. It's called being an informed consumer.

None of this means that companies or their owners are bad. It just means that they may want to look at ways of communicating to the consumer what they should expect. I think a big part of the issue with sites like this is that most get a load of material ready to go when they first open. Then, they have to scramble to keep producing more as the site remains open. This leads to those who initially paid $X/month for say 100 clips to complain once they've got all the original stuff and are paying the same money for 5-10 clips of new stuff a month. Maybe that's one reason for sites to use PPV rather than monthly membership fees. Who knows? Either way, the consumer should be informed, but be reasonable.

I didn't single out any companies... I'm just pointing out the new trend of many once GREAT paid tickling sites not updating or doing what they tell there loyal members they will do.... I mean if you can't live up to what you say then let us know, an email or a simple post at the TMF would work instead of billing us monthly. I have had to cancel four tickling memberships in the last two months because the lack of updates was close to 2-3 months and they promise weekly updates.. I just hope the trend stops soon...... And I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced the frusteration of this.

As AL did not mention any one company specifically, and rather is having a discussion about the state of pay sites as a whole, this is hardly a private business issue, and the topic has every right being posted and discussed here. Please keep with the topic and stop debating whether the thread should be allowed or not.
