Is there a time to cut the cord on tickling?

Come on... tickling people?? This seems kind of strange.
I love tickling as much as anyone. What's the deal and is
it okay to continue?

Most non mormon religions feel being married to multiple people is strange, same as the people who loved D&D as a kid and were beat up for it. Yet, mormons still strive and D&D themes are now embraced. Theres no reason to cut the chord on anything you love

Oh, I am losing my typing faculties, so I'll try and be brief.
No. I am not speaking of my underwear. Brief as in short-winded.

...

Touching pals is good. Touching friends is cool. Touching strangers or casual acquaintances is not.

Tickling requires touching. See above for references.
Cut the cord when it's not cool anymore.

It all depends upon whom you are tickling. For me, tickling is an integral part of who I am. I would no sooner excise it from my personality, than I would kissing, or shaking hands. But you have to ask yourself whether or not tickling is becoming a barrier to your ability to otherwise create and maintain meaningful relationships.
Otherwise, keep on tickling! 😎

Well, if you're creeped out by your own fetish then, maybe you need to find a new one.

I would say he's being creeped out by his own fetish - but creeping out other people can become an issue.

Just as you won't kiss and hug complete strangers, you can't routinely tickle people on first sight without a reason.

Plus, it's a matter of whom you're tickling. Some people hate being touched. They consider touch an intimate affair. Others shake hands easily, hug and pat even casual friends, and expect the same from their pals around.

...

Sometimes weird is in the eye of the beholder: I have female friends who, without being full fledged tickle-fetishists, love to tickle and to be tickled - and wouldn't mind the casual tickling even before strangers.

Others hate being tickled so much they freeze, as if shell shocked, at the very mention of tickling.

...

Just a bit of personal experience.

I really doubt he would be able to drop the habit either way. Most of us who are into this have it so deeply rooted in our psyche, to deny it means living a life in fear of satiating your true desires, inhibiting your own actions and essentially living a lie. Be true to yourself as long as its respectable of others existences.....ohm mani padme ohm, I am the Lotus

And I've already mentioned how supressing desire is a lot like supressing anger. It may just keep building and building until it explodes in a rather unpleasant display. We all remember Terri Disisto don't we? Plus psychiatrists have already proven that trying to deny key aspects of your personality and true nature such as this can lead to psychological inbalances.

So it quite literally really is healthier to just be true to yourself...
