The vast majority of my tickling encounters are not sexual in nature. I really cannot associate nudity with tickling. In fact, unless the tickling session is tailored towards having sex, it makes me uncorfortable. I would have to feel very at ease with the person in order to "accept" her nudity as part of the tickling session.

I agree with you that if you feel attracted to someone (especially naked) and you have a tickling session with her, you would definetely enjoy it. However, nudity is not a must for me to enjoy the tickling and have fun.

Tickling & Clothing

As an incurable wife tickler, I must admit we tickle, and I thoroughly enjoy it both ways.

For those that enjoy it with clothing, I must say that proper distribution of clothing on the female art form is a sexy treat. If you can tickle tease around the edges, well, it's hard for a guy to keep his hands to himself.

the more skin that is exposed the more that can be tickled lightly. you can't tickle a fully dressed person the same as when they are undressed. both are fun, though. if you are planning on going on to sex, then you might as well start off naken.
at gatherings i haven't been tickled, yet. i admit i will want to be clothed, because i get highly aroused by being tickled, and will be somewhat embarassed, by my short commings.
as far as videos go, when the people are undressed, then it's entering the realm of porno. not that that is a bad thing. except if it's 2 women nude, then TO ME it's a huge turn off.

To me it all hinges on the type of relationship and type of tickling if its a close or sexual relationship then nude is not essential but gives a wide scope for finding ticklish hot spots.
bare feet, midriff, exposed pits all give good results.
What we see in videos and images is mainly model based ask yourself how many everyday people look good naked.
I find the stripping to be a major element of the fun side of tickling the humiliation, light bondage blindfolds all add up to a good session having said that a bit of exposed midriff can also be good.

Strangely, for me, body parts matter in the "nude or not" scenario. When I'm doing upper-body and genitals/thighs/butt, I want nudity for the vulnerability aspect and because much of my fetish feeds off the tactile skin-on-skin dynamic. For me, discomfort with nudity as lee would have to do with feeling ashamed or self-conscious about certain areas of my body, and not wanting them to be seen, feeling that they look unattractive exposed. My lower stomach in particular is one of these spots. I'd guess a lot of ladies who have had babies might feel the same about this same area. I feel less sexy than when it's covered. To be tickled nude would definitely take time, trust, and a play partner I had grown very comfortable with physically. I've felt very sexy, and like the clothing didn't reduce the erotic appeal of feeling vulnerable, exposed, or reduce any ticklishness, when I was lee wearing a chemise/short sleeveless dress, or high-waisted skirt, or just bra/panties or nylons w panties. For things to get more sexual, the short dress/skirt worked best to allow that without exposing my belly & feeling self-conscious about it.
