Is it considered to wierd to be a male lee? I've seen a couple of topics on the subject and there seems to be an stigma attatched to it, with most men eager to point out they are '0% ler' or 'only in the right circumstances' (as if they'd tolerate it, but not enjoy it as much as ler-ing).

As someone who enjoys being a Lee just as much as being a Ler (Possibly even becoming more leaning towards Lee as the years go by), this makes me feel very unusual in the community. Is it considered weird to be a male lee, or why do so many males seem to avoid the idea like the plague?

Um...uuh......hmmm. Okay! I've got one. This is more of a confession though...

About an hour ago when I was beatin' my meat to a a looped 'Shiver Me Timbers' clip. I suddenly started having thoughts about tickling the soles pictured in Red Feather's sig. I don't know why because I'm more into long, narrow feet on a woman but, something about them just... I don't know. 🙄

Not that I can see. HDS is very much a male lee. I enjoy lering, but I recently found that I enjoy leeing most of all. Why should there be a stigma? If you enjoy it, why should you be looked down upon, expecially by members of our own interest group? Simply because your preference lies outside the mainstream? Hogwash. Our whole interest lies somewhat outside the mainstream. Anyone who decries a male lee as being strange or weird is most hypocritical and might want to reexamine their own tk fetish, or so I believe. All who like to tickle have the right to enjoy their personal preference and be accepted for that. Not a thing wrong with the male lee or being a male lee (From my own minimal experience) do I see. Might make you quite popular with the ladies, even. 😉

I'm male, submissive, lee. I'm sure there are people that would find us strange, but that's because there'll always be at least some people like that. It's strange, you can talk to other people with a fetish, but they still might consider yours weird. Just because they don't have it, or can't relate to it even, doesn't mean it's wrong. The best we can do is all respect eachother's tastes.

Well I am a male Lee.

In normal life I am anything but submissive (control freak being the best description of me), but in a tickling scenario however, I need/want to be submissive. That would of course have to be with the right sort of woman who knows how to handle that, which is why I find myself drawn to dommes (professional or otherwise). One of the reasons I have never really been able to bring that into a real long term relationship, is that I think it is harder for a woman to accept a submissive side to a man (tickling or otherwise) in a full time relationship unless she has dominant tendencies herself. The flip side being I can't be a submissive person full time outside of the tickling itself, which is why I can't really hack it full time with a more dominant/bossy woman.

I don't get around to discussions too often, but I like this one. I like to tickle and be tickled, but if I had to pick one it would definately be a 'lee. Duh no, I don't think anyone on this forum likes hearing females laugh. You are one sick mother (alright you Yanks, that is known as Sarcasm on this side of the pond).

Anyway since this thread is going all over the place, I have warmed to your theme, and I know how you must have felt in the bar that night.

My most similar experience to yours happened to me once whilst travelling into Euston station on the train. Not too far away from me was a mixed crowd of about 6 to 8 office worker types. Well in the middle of them was this one slightly large (and pretty) jolly young woman. Basically everything anyone in the group said seemed to make her laugh. Thus the whole group, men and women, seemed to be taking it in turns to say ever more stupid things in order to make her laugh more (verbally tickling her as such). Thus by the time we reached Euston she was in a state of total hysteria, yet still being egged on by her co-workers.

I've always wondered, purely as scientific interest 😀 if tickling was more of a bonding response or a defensive response, or both? and if there's any similarity between the stuff happening in the brain during orgasm/arousal and during tickling...I mean, we all know there's a connection, but not everyone would see it that way... it would be fun to do a study on it with volunteers, for damn sure 😀
