Tickling is certainly something you can do when you're bored.
It is also something sexual.
And it is DEFINITELY fun! 😉


But yeah, I guess for me personally, tickling is pretty deeply rooted in my sexuality. Even if it's fun it's also something intimate that turns me on, so it's nothing I'd do with just anyone. I guess relatively "harmless" tickle fights is one thing, but when I think of tickling it's usually prolonged tickling, as in a session.

I guess then the question is, how intimate do I consider tickling to be? Like I said, it is sexual to me, but is it actually LIKE sex? Well, no; sex is something I'd only agree to with someone that I have feelings for. I could have a tickling session with "just" a friend, although it'd still have to be someone I'm pretty damn close to. With that said, assuming I was in a relationship I don't see how I'd be interested in tickling anyone other than my SO in the first place. As for what makes me like tickling so much, who knows? What makes a gay person gay? What makes me think tomatoes are tasty while you don't? Everyone have different preferences and tastes, that's just the way it is. I guess if you really pressure me for an answer though, I was always a bit of a sadist. For me, tickling is many things. It's playful and fun to initiate a tickle fight at unexpected times. If I've been up for hours on a Sunday morning and ready for breakfast, a tickle attack is just the thing to get my husband moving. It's also very intimate, and I would never tickle anyone in public, and I wouldn't appreciate being tickled then either.
