If there are any producers who do not want their preview clips posted at www.ticklingtv.com, let me know. I received an email from a producer calling the members 'thieves' for posting clips that they did not make, which I think is ignorant. I will ban members who post full length clips without permission, and I will remove preview clips at the request of the producers.

The person who emailed me was also angry that producers were not included in the clip giveaway contests. Because of the nature of our contests, producers are excluded from winning. That may change in the future, but the first two contests were based on the number of clips posted and clip views. I don't think it is fair to have normal members competing with producers who post 40+ preview clips to promote their material.

This site is for you guys. You aren't required to be a member to view it, and I'm doing everything to ensure a 'youtube-like' experience for tickle lovers.

Thanks. I thought it was pretty stupid to reward tickling clip producers with free clips instead of the community.

I just had to upgrade the site to increase the bandwidth, which came with a big jump in price.. but I suppose that it is good that so many people are coming to and enjoying the site.

The site looks really good. Is there any way possible to disable the annoying pop-up for livejasmine.com?
Seems to continually pop up even in mid playback of videos. Even when I clilck on a GROUP; very annoying.

You are the second person to say something about that. Those full page ads are only supposed to pop up once every 24 hours, unless you are clearing your cookies constantly. I'll send the advertising company an email.

I'm still getting the (indecipherable to me) error message at the top of the page and the page is still loading noticeably slower than in the past, although I am on dialup so a broadband user might not notice, but it is slower than it previously was with dialup. But I've only tried it with Firefox 2. Will try again later with Internet Explorer and/or after a reboot of my computer and clearing the browser cache if it doesn't get better before I get around to it.

Edit: After loading the page, I notice there's a much larger amount of "white space" between the thumbnails of the videos displayed in the vertical column on the left side of the page, as shown in the attached screen capture. I'll check that again later as well.

It could be a browser-specific issue, or just a temporary glitch with my computer. Like I said, I'll check it again later, as I'm too busy to watch clips right now anyway, unfortunately.

Sorry about all this trouble. I went from spending $20 a month to $80 a month just to avoid this problem, and it happened anyway. Needless to say I just ripped the hosting company a new one.

Hopefully they'll put it back up today.

Hi bruddah! Thank you for all your efforts in getting 'this' straightened out. It seems the the 'livejasmine.com' popup is at it again. It is a continual popup, even popping up when trying to view a vid. Sorry to be the bearer of annoying news but it seems to me that, for you, to quadruple your cost to $80 and to have this jasmine crap in the way...will only serve to annoy others.
I think your concept is AWESOME and I give you kudos to go through this expense only to please others. If you need some contributing $'s...let us know.

The server problem is separate from the pop-up ads. I allow other sites to advertise on Tickling TV, and each user is supposed to experience 1 full page ad (like the one you are describing) per day. If you clear your cookies you will see it again, but as long as you don't you shouldn't see it more than once in 24 hours. It should also load as soon as you get to the site, and you should be able to click continue and enjoy the site without seeing it again. I'm writing an email to the advertising company's support team as we speak.

Sorry about the ads, but they do help out with the hosting costs. I will find out why they aren't working right.

Just heard back from the advertising company, and everything is working fine. Unless you clear your cookies, you'll only see the full page ad once a day.
