I've always wondered how many musical celeberties have used the word(s) "tickling, tickle or ticklish" in some of their songs and wondered if anyone else has heard these words used? To start this off is with Carly Simon on her 1975 album "Playing Possum" which has a song (written by her) called,

Yeah they were popular for a spell here in the 80's I believe but I always liked them! Even here accross the pond.
I Will go into my CD collection and dig it up. I think it is off a greatest hits but I may be wrong there. I will get back to ya unless someone beats me to it.

My Little Obsession

Wow, gang, you're really coming up with some good stuff.

One other song comes to mind is one by "The New Order" that came out in 1997 called, "My Little Obsession". I saw their video about that song once that year. On the video, the subject was about "Foot Fetishism" but didn't necessarily show any tickling (the potential was there of course). I never saw that particular video again (Drat). I've never found the lyrics to that song.

If you search it out....there was a british singer named Janie Jones from the 1960s who had a song called "Tickle Me Tootsie Wootsies". As far as I know, this is the only song that actually addresses the subject of tickling feet.

I've heard "White Heat, White Light" by the Velvet Underground. It's actually a really cool song.
Don't know what I can add.....there is an obscure collection of songs by Joan Jett that came out a few years back. One of the tunes was called "Hide and Seek", in the second or third line of the song she sings "tickle, tickle, hug me".
And on an import collection of early blues songs from the 20s, there's a song called "Tickling Blues" by a Julia Johnson. Unfortunetly, the only tickle mention is brief, and under the woman's chin.
