Tickling Video Game!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to report that I'm 75% finished with my very first video game/ tickling video game. Anyways this game is a 'Choose your own adventure' that puts a lot of emphasis on the story and ticklish situations. When I first learnt how to do this I decided to go big. So this game actually has two huge paths one can follow and depending on the path you take depends on the story arc you follow.

I'll give more details a bit later when the game is ready to be published. I'm working very hard to get it finished, but also making sure it's fun. I'm testing this game personally as I make it and I have a special friend who's helping me as well. My goal is to create more video games in the future. Currently I'm getting some information to create a very special game.

It's a sad fact that needs reversal. Maybe I'll impress a few artist around here and they'll help me make the other game I have in mind.

Even casual/ non gamers will easily be able to pick up on this game. It was created by someone who doesn't know how to program so how hard can it really be? 😀

Thank you very much. This game, for me, is just the beginning. I plan on creating a lot more. And hopfully someday create more advanced types of tickling genre games.

I know it can get a bit stressful. I was lucky to find the artist I have. And I had to deal with a lot of braging, but finally got the information I needed to get this game rolling.

Tickling based rpg... well it failed cause not enough people were interested in doing some work, basic work, like art, music and beta testing... everything else, and that would be hard parts, were up to me. Hell they didn't even want to beta test...

Huh, sorry to hear about that. I don't recall ever seeing this, to be honest. Might've gotten buried under threads and lost. I really wouldn't have minded beta-testing it since I pretty much do that already in my own free time.

I know what you mean. Getting the information I got to make this simple game was almost impossible. I first started out wanting to make a visual novel instead of a 'choose your own adventure' game, but when I asked for some help in that I got one of three responses.

1. That's simple.
2. You need tons of pictures and music (like I didn't already know)
3. (a wall of coding I didn't understand.)

I've been on forums and stuff like that before. Most of the time when I asked a question people would yell at me for not learning it myself. So I went into this new forum wanting to learn, but as they say not everyone can be a teacher.

I think the reason you described above is why there aren't a lot of tickling games out there. I even thought about creating a platforming tickle game, but unless I have money to wave around I don't see one possible. I can write scenarios, but programing a game to work the way I want... not going to happen.

But this game is my start. I plan on doing things with the profits I make. And maybe those things will help others in the long run. So maybe more tickle games will be possible.

Depending on program language, but I can learn it pretty fast yes. I can now do some graphic with photoshop, but I can never do any music... I am lacking of hearing in that department.

Music and art's the same for me. I know what I like. I could probably write a song, but creating the music for it? No way. See that's why I plan on creating these types of games. I plan on creating a program that would make it simpler for people to make 'visual novels' and 'platforming' games. The reason I'm doing this is because I have a lot of ideas and I don't think my ideas should die simply because I don't have the knowlege to make a game.
