i FIRMLY believe towards a girl it is alottttt easier to tell her you like tickling more then you have a foot fetish, because who doesnt like ticlking as a foreplay, i knowwwww some HATE IT but i mean c'mon thats like 10% of the world. all the girls i`ve told about my "foot thing" have not had any problems with it.after telling them they would do things to tease me or put their feet in my lap.

i have only told one person about tickling and she was surprised at first, but was more receptive than i thought she would be.

i think a foot fetish is more accepted but thats just me.....

I find it to be the same for me that it's easier to talk about the tickling thing than the foot thing. There's a creepy stigma that comes with foot fetishists, who haven't exactly set the best reputation in the media. They also tend to be mocked in movies (ie. Road Trip, There's Something About Mary, etc.) Since tickling is a playful, flirty action, I think there's less of a stigma associated with it.

this is definitely not about them, but I know FAR more
creepy foot fetishists than creepy tickle enthusiasts.

I'd say tickling would be more accepted because the vast majority of people who aren't into tickling have been tickled at somepoint in there lives a considerably less number have had there feet fondled.
And as others have pointed out foot fetish folk seem to have a reputation that isnt that great these days, although on the other hand to the mainstream the tickle fetish isnt exactly well known.

I've always thought foot-fetish & tickling-fetish went hand & hand with each other. Or should I say foot & foot LOL. About 20 years ago or so I was dating a girl who liked to rest her feet on my lap & want me to rub them, every now & then I would sneak in some tickling, her feet we're super ticklish. From this she assumed I like feet. This was back in the 80's, so people didn't really talk about foot-fetish openly with each other. Yes, I think you make some very valid points. I never thought of foot fetshism to have creepy people, you maybe right, but at the same time it is more understood by many than the harmless tickle enthusiast. I personally find it easier to say I love feet than I love to tickle,but I know others feel differently and can be comfortable saying both.

Every woman i've dated knows about my foot fetish and it really hasn't been an issue. Tickling is playful and can be mixed with sex so thats never been an issue for me either. As one of us "sexual predators" (gawd, I love that... LOL), I really thought I merely had a tickling fetish. It wasn't until Redscript and I talked at length that I realized I had a hidden foot fetish as well, which actually surprised me. Just in the questions he asked and his interpretation of my responses, he opened my eyes to something I'd apparently kept buried. I admit, after the surprise, I initially resisted the idea; I felt it would almost "intrude" on my tickling preference and, in point of fact, I didn't want more than one fetish, thankyouverymuch.

I have grown since then. 😉

Although foot tickling was certainly the original attraction even to come here to TMF, the stage is definitely being shared now...Foot worship in itself is unbelievably exciting; I have had unexpected (and quite intense) physical reactions to even just listening to it being described as step-by-step.
