Tickling vs. other topics in our chatroom...

I am not a chat room 'type'. I stop in once in awhile
but basically I think too much and type too little.
Some folks can do the chat like they're actually
with co-chatters in the same room. It's just not me.

But I ask the regular or moderate chatroomer's
to describe how often you talk, tickle vs. other
topics, or how long a multi person rap session might
go on, is tickling more p.m. likely?... whatever.

No particular angle really, just your take on things.
I imagine there are threads that have covered this.

Yeah like Flatfoot all ready said. It just depends who is in there at the time some Chatters only wanna talk and discuss about tickling and nothing else. And some want to discuss both about tickling and general non tickling conversions too. Nothing wrong in doing either or its just up to you and what your tastes are. Either way chat rooms and instant messaging and e-mail are a great way to talk with people in real life and in real time (just gotta be care full of the dangers that are out thier and lurking in the internet world) be wise and think things through when your on the computer.

Yeah, its one of the beautiful things I've discovered about this place. It's people brought together from every walk of life by a common interest. You'll probably see more general conversation here but that is only because it is many interests vs. tickling. With a ratio like that we must REALLY love tickling! Of course, why else would we be here... what a wonderful little piece of paradise possible only by the internet.

Variety is definitely the spice of life.

I'm not a huge Forum poster but because of the tremendous amount of subjects discussed here I found that despite my original reason for joining the forum which was to very selectively meet with and share tickling experiences with like-minded people, I gravitated initially to the Post Stories section because I enjoy good tickle fiction and found it easy to comment on stories. I had also just begun to write tickle fiction and was encouraged by a friend to submit a story so once people responded to it and subsequent entries of mine it almost forced me out of my shell to post a bit more there.

The General Discussion area was another area I found easy to post in because of the wide array of topics.

It was easy to work my way into posting in other areas once the so called ice was broken in these two Forum sections.

I'm always fascinated by the eclectic group of people that are members of this illustrious community and the never ending list of new subjects and spins on old ones that come up. Seems there's something for everyone here.

I haven't been in the chat room for a while simply because of time limitations. But, when I do go in, there's generally a variety of topics being discussed. There are some who have taken issue with non-TK conversation. Obviously, those individuals come looking for TK talk. There's nothing wrong with that. It IS a TK forum chat. However, for those who spend a fair amount of time there, it's simply not something you can always stick to. As folks get to know one another, they naturally gravitate towards other topics they have in common (or wish to debate). That's a good thing.

I personally see this as a good thing. Building community is one of the purposes of the TMF. It's the reason we have other forum topics in addition to tickle related ones. We come here for the first few visits as individuals, looking for a TK outlet and a place to feel at home. Hopefully, we end up finding some true friends and feeling a part of something other than just some forum we can write our thoughts on. One of the reasons that we try to keep everything civil is to allow for this to take place in a welcome atmosphere. All should be able to come here and feel welcome.

On a technical obsevation: say there are twenty
people in the chatroom- it seems like three
or four people can be in one coversation and
half a dozen or more are in a seperate conversation
at the same time (just like when your at a party
or gathering). It seems the norm, yes?

(And yes , I'm aware at times, everyone is in
the same conversation).
