Anyone else have dreams that involve tickling?
Are they pleasant or not quite 😬
Whenever I dream about being tickled, I’m overwhelmingly ticklish. Seems fun but there’s an element of helplessness and dread that comes with it that I don’t get in real life.
In my last dream I was tied up in a dungeon being tickled on my belly with a giant , slow moving feather. Seems ridiculous but I was dying, shaking with laughter, wondering when it would end. Hot but scary? Wonder if that’s how really sensitive lees feel…
I definitely do. They are less common than they used to be, but they do still occur. I have them as both a ler and a lee. It just so happens that I had one last night, so the timing of your question is funny. I don't remember much about it—it's one of those where the memory details of the dream are fuzzy. While I am an even switch, I tickle my wife much more than she tickles me because she is more like 70/30. Just because of that and how we've been busy lately, I hadn't been tickled in a while, but last night my wife wanted to tickle me and record a part of it for a friend. She caught me on a very ticklish day and really got my upperbody good. Later that night I had a dream of a woman tickling my upperbody and I woke up a few times from that, kind of drifting in and out of sleep returning to that dream.
I've found that the most common lee-based dreams I have are triggered when I sleep with my arms up over my head (not sure why I do this, but I do). I very clearly remember one of the most intense tickle dreams I've had in recent years was after my wife and I had a session with a friend. For some reason my upperbody was so, so ticklish that day and they tickled my ribs brutally. That night, I had a dream that a kind of dark, almost demonic, woman figure tickled my ribs and underarms. It was so intense and I felt it as such a real sensation. At one point I jolted awake and pulled my arms down hard while curling my body forward. I had let out a half laugh, half yell, which I was afraid woke my wife up, but then remembered she can sleep through a tornado. That dream was so interesting because of how real the sensation was. It also was very scary, but after I had been awake for a few seconds and caught my breath, I was like, that was... awesome! 😂
An interesting fact is that a lot of people have various forms of sleep paralysis, where they come half awake and feel semi-conscious but paralyzed. During that state, they often experience different types of hallucinations (e.g., visual, auditory, sensation, etc.). One of the most common is shadowy figures in their room, sometimes even touching or otherwise doing something to them. These hallucinations have become known as sleep paralysis demons. A lesser experienced, but still common enough variation of this is when the figures start tickling the sleeping person. I've heard these called tickling demons or tickle demons. I do beleive that is what I have experienced several times. You can actually find a bunch of posts on reddit where people describe their experiences with them and desperately want it to stop (most people, it turns out, do not enjoy being brutally tickled!😂)
