Ticklish Face?

Awhile back I went to this fancy head and neck clinic for my TMJ (not sure what it stands for but its basically a joint disorder in the jaw area, for myself it causes the jaw to click and occasionally lock up if not cared for) At one point the doctor had me lie in this dentist like chair and she felt my jaw on both sides with her hands. She was behind me and used her finger tips to feel around my jaw. Surprisingly enough that tickled! and I couldn't fight it off so I was laying there feeling like a doofus cuz I couldn't stop laughing.

So, just curious...anybody else have a ticklish face?

Sorry to hear about your TMJ Noxide. I've had that, and it is painful. My mom used to be a dental hygenist, and she said TMJ is a common problem.
To answer your question, yes, my face is ticklish, too. I think many people's are. I used to have a dog when we lived in our old house in CT, and when she used to lick my face, it would tickle like mad! A ticklish face is more common then one would think.

lol I guess the ears can count too 🙂 And I understand the facial skin being sensitive but what about deeper like how you can dig into someones sides or lightly scratch them...like that? Sorry if I'm not explaining it very well

I've known several girls who were ticklish to a light touch on their face, especially on their lips.

My face is very ticklish to light touches. I am ticklish to a little firmer touches on the back side of the jaw bone below the ears. The face is usually pretty easy to protect from ticklers which may be a factor in its not being discussed much here. I think lots of us are tickled by pets licking our faces as has been mentioned here.

I remember NJJen once told us that the roof of her mouth is ticklish. I think many areas of the body that are unaccustomed to the touch of another are likely to be ticklish.

The lines of my jaws are ticklish...but neck is even worse. Last night my wife and I were talking and she had her hands on my collar bones, not trying to tickle or anything, but her nails were resting lightly against my neck. (She was standing and I was sitting and had my hands around her hips.) I tried to continue talking but the giggling just was building up inside me and I finally had to ask her to mover her hands! She laughed and gave me a quick tickle before moving of course!

My jawline/jawbone is excrutiatingly ticklish. Lazzy likes to get his fingers just under my jaw, under the chin or to either side, knowing my first instinct will be to clamp down trapping his hands there, and then he tickles away while I can do nothing but scream and attempt to wiggle away in vain! Don't even get started on the ears...major e-zone for me as well!!
Nibbling on my ears will have me crying and moaning pretty much at the same time...sends crazy chills right down my spine!
