Weird, I was just telling my friend about this the other day.
Ever since I was a small child I could just sit and imagine things for long periods of time (sometimes rather vividly) I guess that's what made me a pretty good writer back in my youth.
And I don't know exactly how old I was when I started doing it, but every night before I go to sleep I immediately hit reflective mode. Sometimes I think about things that went wrong during the day, and how I could have done things differently. Sometimes I think about the future and meeting the goals I have set for myself successfully. There are also many nights when I fantasize until I fall asleep.
I've had tickling fantasies since I was a tot. Back then it was usually with a guy I had my schoolgirl crushes on. Now, most of the time they involve this perfect man I dream up who probably doesn't even exist in reality 🙁.... Sometimes its a hot teacher who works at my job. (Oh but not lately. Ok... Maybe the assistant principal, but he's a Marine. Mmmmmmm!) Heehee....
I don't really have tickle dreams a lot, so my imagination makes up for it. 😛
Truthfully, my tickle fantasies aren't so steamy that they keep me awake for hours. LOL... The only reflection that keeps me awake is when I've screwed up, or someone has pissed me off, or when someone I care about is having a hard time.
That's about it.

Fantasies becoming reality...
...doesn't happen all that often for me. In order for me to have my fantasies actually 'fulfilled', it takes a whole lot more than just getting tickled (which I get on a pretty regular basis.) For me, fantasies are just as much about the circumstances I think up as the actual tickling. And let's face it (I know I'm not alone on this one), some of the circumstances that we all dream up can be pretty wild (kidnapping, torture, burgulary, run-ins with celebrities, etc...). I'm really not expecting too many of my actual fantasies to come to fruition, but they do make great fodder for our stories section!
So, why have them at all if we're not expecting them to come true? I think that, like Sunrise said, it is part of what makes us creative people (and consequently, sometimes great writers.) I think that having fantasies is a healthy form on imaginative expression....as long as you're not dreaming your life away (or losing TOO many nights sleep..lol) Like everything else in life, taken in moderation, it's fine. I think that fantasies, even more than actual dreams (while asleep) are a big part of who we are as people. They allow us to express ourselves without the boundaries of reality.
Speaking of dreams though (switching gears for just a moment), I had a weird one the other night. I just thought of this as I was writing because this dream was definitely not what I would normally consider an extension of who I am (like my fantaises would be). I had a f/f dream a couple of nights ago. And to top off that strange situation for me (because I have never really been into f/f tickling before...sorry guys...lol), I played the 'ler (another out of character role for me). I didn't know who the girl was, but I was being completely merciless with her. I woke up a bit puzzled, and (I've got to at least admit this much) intrigued. It didn't necessarily want to make me explore the f/f portion of my dream, but definitely the 'ler side of things. I haven't had too much experience in that area (not to any great length anyway...I usually always lose when I get into tickle fights).
Maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something 😉

daydream, nightdream, fantasies...all the time. Actually its the basis of the stories I wrote years ago. I have a tendency towards erotic tickling fantasies, then it is really hard to sleep. If anyone remembers my Midnight Summers dream story they will understand.

Best fantasies during sound sleep for me
I find my most intense tickling dreams and fantasies occur during sound sleep. My mind can create vivid stimuli when it is not diverted by realistic concerns of my surroundings or the reality taking place around me. It can be a little disappointing when I have to awaken too soon when I am embedded in a vivid fantasy dream.

One or two times a DAY? I can probably limit it to that number during the course of an HOUR. See...now I feel like a tickleholic (times 10...lol)

Q - LOL. Well......I WOULD have said one to two times a minute, but I didn't want to seem quite so obsessive. Bad enough I've resorted to sitting on the street corner with a sign that reads "Will work for tickles." 😉

LOL😀 I need to get a JOB hhehehe because I have
too much time on my hands to daydream,fantasize unless
I am running errands 😛 .I do daydream very frequently
but I don;t really dream specifically about certain
people ,guys here at the TMF..Not yet anyways 🙂 😛
Most of my daydreams are about different scenerios of how it
will be,could be when I attend a Big tickling gathering meeting
ticklers,ticklees in person and the different conversations,
teasing ticklers that I think may have their eye on me by
adjusting my position in a chair plopping my ticklish feet up
and wiggling em 😀 ,or stretching out my arms overhead reaching for
the sky exposing my smooth armpits ,then wiggling around like I
