I'm guessing you're fairly new to the TMF. I'm not. I was one of the original moderators. I also met the woman I married via the net, and we reconnected via the TMF.

Simply put, you're wrong, brother. Happily, delightfully wrong.

Doesn't mean this is EASY. Doesn't make it guaranteed. Means it's POSSIBLE.

Gatherings are still an easier path. Go to a gathering or a munch, MEET people, and become known to some friends in this community. The shy folks get MUCH braver when you're a known entity.
