If a telemarketer pisses me off enough, with calls during stressful times, I've been known to fuck with them a bit. One time, it was a male, and I told him he had a nice voice. He paused, and nervously thanked me, and continued his rap. I then said, "hmm...you sound like you're tall." Nervously, he went off topic, and said, "well, I am five-nine," and then went back to his script again. "You don't have a lot of...body hair, do you?" Complete silence. "You do have a nice voice...I like the Southern ones." He hung up. Never heard from him again, or the company he represented.
I'm still waiting for the right female to call, so I can ask how ticklish she is. You never know, it might morph into an interesting conversation. Either way, they're interrupting my dinner or my ballgame, and they deserve nothing better.
Calling a place of business and doing that, however, is not a good idea.
