(Note: If you think this written to cause trouble, you obviously didn't think it through)
We've all been part of a group or a social forum once in a while, heck you're in one right now. You've hanged out with them, shared a common interest, even gained new interests. But did you ever stop to think that your personality has changed sinced you've entered one? Have you ever begin to act a certain way or expected to act in a certain matter? Have you ever felt that something you do has provoked certain people in a way you would not find abnormal?
It makes me sick. Having to act in a certain way to be accepted by a select few. The fear of God put into you if you don't do what is probably not even really accepted. To live as shallow herd instead of standing out. All of it makes me sick.
I could not begin to rant on how i've been told i've been to vicious or rude, not here but everywhere else. Where lies are rather accepted than a real honest opinion. Where everyone is so afraid to be honest that we rather destroy them then accept a different view. Do people really fear for others or is it because of their own insecurities?
Have any of you ever made a wise crack or a joke about something and then all of the sudden, someone comes out of no where to say, "You can't say that, that's wrong, stop that...blah blah blah". Of course you don't take this seriously because you're basically being yourself and consider it just to be a little tiff. Then it just escalates into a big dissaster, gun pointed at your head, all because one person had a problem. I hate those people, people who are afraid we might offend someone or we're attacking someone when in truth we're just being honest. They think all we're here to do is cause trouble, disregaurding how long or how much we put into trying to be accepted all because one person had a problem. SHUT UP! Are you so afraid of someone being honest that you rather silence them than let them be someone who's of significance. Were they refuse to be like everyone else and say, "Hey, it's not perfect".
I honestly love people who aren't afraid to be themselfs. A person who, dispite others reactions, can say, "I'm me, i'm not going to change, get over it". A person basically demonstrating the very principles this country has handed down from your forefathers for generations that has deterorated since it's inception. Yes, I said "Your forefathers" because i'm only the second generation born in this country ( on my father's side...I don't know if that counts) yet can understand the true meaning of freedom.
I believe we should never fear anyone because we have an opinion nor should we disregaurd all but the most illogical thinking because we are only human, flaws and all. I will never change my personality to fit someone else's broken veiw of the world. We have the right to accept or ignore others but we have no right to silence them. So kiss my ass if you have a problem with me because i'm just being me. 🙂
(This is NOT an attack on ANYONE, but just the opinion of the few honest people left in this world...i think. I'm sure there's more people somewhere 🙂 )
