Tired of AOL or IE

[COLOR=BA8BD3] Tired of IE or Aol problems and not a MSN browser. I found through the show The ScreenSavers on Techtv that there is a free browser similar to IE but doesn't have any of IE's
headaches. Try Mozilla or Firefox See what you think. I think it is great. I am using it right now.[/COLOR]

Got some questions.
Do these other browsers store temporary internet files in the same place as IE ?
Do they have a 'delete temporary files' option?
Do they have a 'high security' option that prevents the use of ActiveX and scripts by websites ?
Do you still get Spyware dumped all over your machine ?

🙂 Mozilla said in their mission statement that they were another product from Netscape Communications. If Netscape has a deleted temp files then I am sure they do.
I know the browsers block active X files and have high security standards. I'll get back to you on the other question. 🙂

FireFox seems to be good and fast; at least from one untrained layman's eyes.

The Java on FireFox works way-zillion times better than the Opera version of Java. TMF Chatroom loads and executes.

For paranoid web surfing, the web browser "Opera" (http://www.opera.com) still seems to have the slight edge; it's easy to turn off the things that scare me most (cookies, Java, and Javascript).

FireFox is nothing to ignore, though.
