The only reason why the Doors are considered classic, in my opinion, is because Jim Morrison died from complications due to his judicious use of drugs...Hardly a ledgend in the making, as far as I'm concerned.

GH3 is my favorite one.
RB is dope all the way around, but I prefer GH's guitar.
Heavy metal is fuckin' insane. And classic Rock..anythin' for the most part from the 80's.
Well, I start with the 70's. Iron Butterfly, Nazerath, CCR. But, I really like the first album of Rage, after that, they sucked.

Quiet Riot, Metallica, Cooper, Sabbath...Although Sabbath started in the 70's...ahh well. You get me.
I didn't say I don't like the 80's, just my favorite bands are more 70's. I grew in the 80's, so it was music.

AC/DC just gets stale after a while w/the same 'ol , same 'ol. Not really the characteristic of a "legendary" band , if ya ask me.

Actually, AC/DC is still being rocked to and being requested. A little variety. Morrison burnt out, but still made decent music. He was good, don't get me wrong, but he is a legend more for the drugs than for the music. Hendrix was known for the music as much as for the drugs.

This ones easier than the last one. I like me some AC/DC, but I really just don't think they have the talent, and I don't believe they deserve to go any further. Whereas Jim Morrison is just the embodiment of talent, so The Doors get it.

It's AC/DC, and it's really not close, tho the Doors had some great songs no question.

Oooooh, thats a tough one. You've got some "Big Balls" vs. The "Riders on the storm". But I'll just have to go with the doors, just because of Jim Morrison and his sheer awesomeness.
